  1. With my first big surgery on my ear the Dr discharged me with a prescription for colace it was a life saver I will definitely ask for that
  2. Call back your insurance and ask to speak with the bariatric Coordinator I know bcbs has one. They will give you all the info
  3. Well I don't know how tall you are but I am 5'3 and 280 pounds with 140 to lose and I am getting the sleeve its my first and hopefully last wls my insurance only allows one per lifetime. So we're not to far off weight wise. I would check out the band revision boards they have a better perspective

I've been testing powders and premade drinks so far I like the gnc 100% whey the best flavor in my opinion is the strawberry mixed with lactaid milk and ice in my nutra ninja and it tastes like a milk shake. And I just picked up some EAS advantedge chocolate fudge not bad but I'll be trying others to see if I like them better
  5. Once your body goes into ketosis in a couple of days the headache will go away and you won't be as hungry just power thru you got this
  6. I'm having a serious outpatient surgery done on my ear in the morning and feeling nervous this is the second surgery on that ear in 4 months so well wishes and prayers would be awesome I love how supportive this community is

  8. My new NP works with bariatric patients and said we would have to adjust meds after surgery depending on my tolerance but nothing about stopping or going off of anything
  9. I've been buying frozen vacuum sealed 4oz talapia fillets in a 2.5 pound bag from the store and cooking them with lemon butter and old bay and they are tasty I'm still pre-op so I can eat two fillets and its 40 grams of protein

  11. That's great about the sense of peace. My best advice is to take it one day at a time. I have to remind myself that my bad habits didn't develop in one day and won't go away in one day either
  12. Have you considered Atkins that's what my nut says was the best for liver shrink diet

  14. Honestly comming from the prospective of the daughter of two addicts you don't sound like an alcoholic you sound like someone who is afraid their social life will change because much of it is engrained with alcohol in the foreground
  15. Hi I'm about the same time frame as you. The diet my nut put me on was basically Atkins/south beach but with fruit and whole grains. I've lost a little bit of weight and I feel awesome how do you feel so far
