Hi Desmond. I haven't thrown up yet so I'm not sure what to recommend.now that I'm on regular food I do find I eat a bit too quickly once in awhile and feel almost like I'm gonna throw it up. Maybe your new stomach can't tolerate milk?

I hope the gas pain gets better soon Desmond. I didn't have that thank goodness. While in the hospital I gained 14 pounds from 3 days of iv...wasn't happy about that. Glad to hear you're probably getting released today. Keep is posted

I too am doing great post op! I have no regrets at all. I'm down a total of 47 pounds and I am feeling great. I still eat too fast once in awhile and my new tummy let's me know. Other than that no problems at all.☺

Good to hear from you Desmond! Great job on previous op weight loss too. I had my surgery September 24th and am doing great! I had a very easy recovery, easiest surgery of my life. I have zero regrets. I am in control of food instead of it controlling me, and I love only being able to eat " a little" now. Since my surgery I'm down 44 pounds! Like you, I see myself now in a mirror and I like to look. First time in a long time. Please keep us posted. I'm glad you're doing well!

I am 46 and had my sugary September 24 this year. Loving my new life! Already down 39 pounds????

I had surgery 9/24. Was 263 day of surgery. Gained 14 pounds from 3 days of iv while in hospital. Weight today is 243. I eat around 500 calories a day now. I'm not very hungry still. I do get plenty of water in.

Holly bower I was told not to eat baby food as adults hqve different nutritional needs than children. Just what I was told.

Hi mykdzmom. Glad to hear you are doing well! Great news. I am on pureed/soft foods.protein intake between 40 and 50 grams per day. So far I am tolerating everything very well. I eat canned chicken, turkey or salmon. 2 ounces per meal.Hard boiled eggs 1 per meal. Low fat cottage cheese 2 ounces per sitting. Strained cream soups with unflavored protein powder 2 ounces per meal. I also have premier protein rtd shakes. I add a couple of teaspoons of pureed beets or carrots to each of my meals too.I am getting in between 50 and 69 ounces of water each day too.And of course my vitamins! Keep up the good work! Oh and I just discovered light babybel cheese. Only 50 calories and 6 grams of protein!

Hello Desmond. Thats great news that your surgery is re-scheduled. I hope it is a go for you this time. I had my surgery on September 24. I am doing great! Down 32 pounds. I have had no problems at all to date. I took one week off work after surgery but didn't need to.I am having no trouble getting water in or protein.As far as hunger, I do not feel any but I do 5 or 6 mini meals each day. That being said it is Thanksgiving weekend in Canada and when I saw some of the items being served up. My head hunger thought it would be nice to taste..but I am happy to say I walked away! Great job Rileysmom22 on your weight loss!????

Great news ANewMe9/21! Hope it goes very well! I am down a total of 22 pounds. 14 pre op and 8 since surgery. I gained 14 pounds from 3 days of iv, so that took about 4 days to lose.

Great that you are doing well mykdzmom. I was on iv first 3 days so didn't drink more than 20 ounces at most during that time. I am now 8 days post op and do drink 50 to 60 each day. I return to work on Monday so will have to work very hard to ensure I continue with that.

Hello everyone. My surgery is over. I did not end up with a sleeve though, instead I got a mini gastric bypass. Surgeon said when he opened me up I had a huge hernia. And had he given me a sleeve I likely would have suffered major heartburn for life. I'm still not being permitted to get out of bed. Pain was very bad for first few hours post-op. But is quite tolerable now. I o have a drain in. But it is not causing any discomfort. I really want to get up and walk around. So im hoping they let me soon. Not hungry at all but a drink of water would be nice. Take care everyone. I will be in touch soon.

I hope those that had surgery are doing very well. I check into the hospital tomorrow, for surgery Thursday! I will try to give updates as soon as I can. This is getting very real! I am ready though, I want my life back!????
