Congratulations on beginning your journey.
I was sleeves on July 21 of this year.
I am super grateful for no issues, no food problems, etc. I had my 8 week check today and I am at 40lbs.
Only thing I would do different, is not get discouraged during the early stalls. Mine lasted almost 2 weeks...then suddenly, I started dropping. The big the I didn't notice, etc through my clothes and I needed to realize it, I was still losing inches. So now, I just remind myself, it's going to come off, just be patient!

Stalls are normal. When I was 3 weeks out, I stalled for 2 weeks and I've had several in 9.5 months post-op. Just keep working your plan...the weight will come off. Even with the stalls, I am down 140 lbs since surgery last fall.

No continue with your eating plan prescribed by your program. It's not uncommon to have a huge initial weight loss. Between the all or full liquid diet, the trauma of the surgery, actually having a considerable amount of your tummy removed, it's not unusual to lose a lot in those first few weeks. However after that the common weight loss is 1 -5 lbs a week depending on a variety of factors such as age, health, how much weight you need to lose, etc....
My advice is monitor your eating and stay off the scale. Take your measurements so you can see those differences even when the scale doesn't move. Drink your Water, get your Protein in and exercise as much as you safely can.
