I walked in thinking I wanted the sleeve. But I have acid reflux and the Dr. said that wouldn't be a good choice for me. Plus she said for the amount of weight I wanted to lose, bypass was a better option. Did your Dr. offer their opinion on what would be best for you? -

That's great! I'm 15 days post op. I'm going back to my Dr. tomorrow for my 2 week post op appt. and I get to start on puréed/soft foods! Yay!

I had my surgery 2 weeks ago. I would recommend bringing some Chapstick and slippers. -

Me too! I'm 13 days post op and still on liquids! I'm so ready for some puréed food (which I never thought I would say)

I had my RNY on 8-17. HW293 CW269 I'm feeling pretty good for the most part, just a little tired. I've been on liquid diet since surgery. I am really ready to move on to the next stage which will be next Wednesday! Yay!!

I'm been doing great. A little tired. I go back for my 2 week post op next Wednesday and hopefully advance to puréed foods. I'm pretty sick of the liquids. -

I started taking all my prescription meds day after surgery. (whole capsules & tablets) That is what my Dr told me. I haven't had any problems.
