I am a new newbie I am hoping to have my surgery in December, so excited and still lots of little questions. Can you tell me about the day of surgery, what you experienced, did you have to have catheters, drain tubes etc. I have never had a surgery before other than childbirth, so that part is what freaks me out more that anything. I am having the laprascopic sleeve. Any other details you want to share would be great, pain levels etc. if you go on you tube and search it will show you the actual prep and surgery pretty kool -
got sleeved on 9/28 lost 55lbs so far so went out to celebrate with wife got a chinese food lunch special had to take half to go home i use to have 3 plates full @ buffett and best of all its booth sitting and i fit in the booth without my stomach hanging on the table i was so happy.

im at a stall right now 3 months out lost 55# so far but i think i was bad this week had some potato, had carbs, and some chips so im back on track see what the scale says next week -
im 2 months post op and my nut say 12oz coffee a day is fine

im 2 months post op i can tolerate any food i tried so far i know this is a life changing thing but i think if i dont have a spoonfull of stuff i use to enjoy and deprive my self i might feel tempted to go back to old habbits so now and then ill have a spoon of ice cream a mini reses pb cup or a spoon of potatoes on the holidays ill probbaly have a spoonfull of stuffing squash turnip and pie -
