I am not offended, it is the rant and rave part of the board, and if you don't want to rant and rave, then I should not post on this particular part of the board. I stand corrected. I am woman enough to admit that. I am not good at ranting and raving, I am just point blank. Everybody that knows me tells me that, point blank but I love everybody.

I am an advocate for children. I am in college now, ECE studies, eventually I will obtain my doctorate. Yes, she is guilty of being a terrible mother. Murder???, that's we will have to see. I have followed this story, and it has been said that she left her with someone. I believe she was so high or drunk that she does not even remember who she left Caylee with. My heart bled when I heard this. Even if she did not murder her physcially, she murdered her by not protecting her. I don't know everything, but I believe she will be sentenced for Neglect and Abuse, and murder in a lesser degree. She failed to protect her from harm, and she caused harmed by putting the child in a position to be murdered. Neglect= failure of a parent or legal guardian to properly care for and meet the basic needs of a child under 18 years of age. Abuse=to mistreat, attack, or cause harm to antoher individual.

ANYWHOO! I knew the truth would hurt. The truth hurts, or you would not respond to what I have said. Some of you need to grow and get a life outstide of the net. GANGING UP ON ME?? I give this advice to all women, please take time to heal within, another man will not do this for you. In time God will heal all wounds. He did it for me and he will do it for you. Give it time. There is no time limit for healing, but as they say time heals all wounds, trust me, it does.

Hi, government spend ridiculous money on everything else, why not WLS? I believe that WLS not only improves people's health, but it improves how they see themselves. I believe when you see yourself different it will help you become a better person. For the ones that do not work, I believe that sometimes weight can be a hinderance to a person's outlook on life. If you work, no doubt about it, if you can get Medicaid, then use it.

It is just not wise to have so many children and you can not afford them. I do not wish evil upon her nor her chilldren. I pray God gives her an excellent way to support them. I do not want CPS to take them, so I will pray for God to send her the support she needs. What's done is done, we can not change it. People threatening to kill her (accordinjg to the news) and all that violent stuff is wacko too.

I haven't posted in a while, but some of the posts are real mean and cruel. Not all are mean; you can figure out the ones that are. I have the realize band and it goes up to 9 cc's, I am at a little over 7cc's according to my nurse on Wednesday. It seems a little too tight now. I'll see in two weeks, it may loosen a little. I really hope 8cc's is in there, they took all mine out on Wednesday to see where I was, and they put it all back in. It has been a challenge these last couple of days, I feel like I am going through post op again.

Orginally, this thread was about people eating the wrong things after they have just had the LB surgery. I read a thread once that someone tried to eat Mcdonald's chicken nuggets a couple of days after surgery, this is not acceptable, and to add dangerous. I think support and encouragement should be given before and after the post op stage, but if you stray too far you need some "tough love." My two cents, I read this board for 4 mths prior to surgery and I am thankful to God that there were very helpful people on this board.

Hi, sorry you are not happy with the band. Unfortunately there will be people who will not be happy with their band, so it does not offend me. I thank God that I was able to get it and I am doing well with it, but if someone else isn't, I do not condemn them.

Hi, I can bearly eat anything raw anymore, I love my fruits, I would not have even thought about carrots. I was surprised that I could eat a salad yesterday, hurt a little but all was well. Take it be, it did not have cucumbers, tomatoes, or anything thick. It had a few carrots, but shredded fine. It is a learning process I tell ya.

Katw, I agree, I am just all for encouragement; however, sound advice without a mean tone is good.

HI, I was too scared to eat anything that was not on the 1- 4 weeks post op because I thought I would damage myself or the band. I can not see how you can solids right after surgery when you are in so much pain. By no means am I criticizing anyone, its just dangerous not to follow the rules that are given.

I was banded on 4-14-08, I have lost a total of 39lbs without a fill. I thought 3cc's was a lot for a first fill, but maybe I was wrong.

I have 3cc and my first fill was yesterday. How much weight have you lost with the band. My doctor told me if I am losing weight on the band he will determine whether I need a fill or not. I guess that is what you doctor is doing, if you are losing weight nicely, he waited to fill you. again.

I had a fill too, 3cc. are you burping or do you have gas?
