Checking in with my co-surgery September Sleevers! How is everyone feeling? I'm doing great thus far.
No complications, except I was dehydrated past two days. I am really trying to remember to drink my fluids. I'm back to work and get so busy, I forget, Can you say MIGRAINE! I am focused to get them in today. I noticed hot tea goes down so much better

Des, I'm so sorry to hear that news. After all your prep. But no matter when it happens, because it will happen... you'll always be a September Sleever! Please keep us posted!

I too have had many doubts about the surgery (even the last week after having the surgery when I was having a particularly hard time with pain management, drinking without having that pain in my upper chest, etc)) but when I think back to my lifetime of struggle with weight, I know in my heart that this is what I need to be successful at permanent weight loss.
For those youth, shame on them! I imagine their parents taught them better but since they feel they got away with it, they are high on being hateful towards others. Just shows their immaturity and need to make themselves feel better by putting people down.
My prayers and thoughts are with you as you move on to the next stage of your life!

@keentravller...I'm have surgery Monday too! Smh! Can't believe it's time! Nervous and excited! Can't wait to tell my success stories!!

Should be going home today. Entering phase 2 today, clear liquid & shakes. Some pain, but tolerable with meds. No bloating, no nausea. Having the Biotene spray was a plus! Feeling good!

Had my surgery on the 21st. Came home today around dinner time. I'm already feeling more normal since getting home. I did end up with a drain because my spleen got accidentally nicked so the drain is for my bleeding spleen. Other than that the gas pains are uncomfortable but the whole process was more tolerable than i was anticipating !

Surgery in the morning nervous and excited.

I hope those that had surgery are doing very well. I check into the hospital tomorrow, for surgery Thursday! I will try to give updates as soon as I can. This is getting very real! I am ready though, I want my life back!????

I can't stop getting sick!!!! Threw up 4 times already.... Is so painful

Two more days until my surgery and I'm starting to get nervous. I will do another rebuilding Paul! video today or tomorrow and get it posted before the surgery.
I slipped up last night. I haven't eaten food in so long and I didn't time my Protein Shakes right so I was STARVING, so I ate a small piece of cheese. I immediately regretted it because it made my stomach hurt like crazy. It's all liquids from here on.

I'm on clear liquid today--- surgery is tomorrow!!!!!

Big day tomorrow! I have a 530am show at the hospital and I can't sleep. Anyone else's big day tomorrow?!?
