  1. I'm just 2 weeks post op and I've been getting chest pains and stomach pains when I try to eat mashed stuff, so I've just been really frusterated. I still crave "normal food." Maybe it's just all mental. I'm thinking maybe it just takes time for my body to get adjusted to this lifestyle but so far I'm feeling a little down. I wonder if I'm making all these complications up in my head or others get them too. I wake up everyday at 4 am almost feeling stressed. Sorry if it sounds like I'm complaining. I didn't tell anyone other than my mom and dad and 2 best friends about the surgery so I feel super bottled up lol
  2. I thought I was the only one that felt that way! I do miss my stomach so much because I crave water. I feel so dehydrated and helpless.

Hello! ☺ I just got my sleeve done 3 days ago. That's awesome that you've lost 32 lbs in 2.5 weeks! Incredible! I've been in so much pain and even wondering if I made the right choice, but stories like yours give me hope. Do you mind me asking your starting weight?
  4. Hi! How did you get the gas to come out?? I'm 3 days out of surgery and I'm still getting a lot of pain from my belly. I've been walking, a lot. (2 to 3 hours total a day) don't know what else to do!
  5. Hi everyone! I just got the sleeve done 3 days ago, and I am struggling. I'm in so much pain, because of the gas stuck in my stomach area. I've talked to a few people about the recovery but they all say it wasn't too painful and a fast recovery. I'm feeling in the odds because of this. I'm almost starting to feel a little regretful. I just got really hungry today, but my body doesn't too well with liquids, so I'm drinking maybe 2-4oz of apple juice a day. I just got discharged from the hospital for the first day, so I feel more comfortable that I'm home now. Also, this might be a little bit of a TMI, but I woke up to having my period after surgery. The nurses joked with me saying, "boy, when it rains, it sure does pour, huh?"
