    Anyone with RLS out there?

I get RLS really bad from the trazodone I take to help me sleep. My doctor prescribed mirapex to help and it makes a huge difference.

    Frequent Nausea?

Does anyone else have frequent nausea with their sleeve? I'm over 2 months out and eating normally now but I get nausea on a regular basis. I can't quite narrow it down to any one thing. Sometimes I'll get it with my Vitamins and sometimes with food. It just seems kind of random.

    Drinking before eating

Best thing for me is drinking until I eat, not drinking while I eat, and then waiting 30 minutes after I eat before drinking again. Never have any problems with this regiment.

    I made a mistake.

Don't have anything after midnight or whatever the instructions say and you'll be fine. I ate pizza the day before surgery and I didn't die

    Alcohol Addiction

This is very common with weight loss. You've traded one addiction for another. You used food to cope and now that you lost that coping mechanism you have turned to alcohol. I highly recommend seeing a counselor. This is still early and you can definitely bounce back from this and get healthy. Good luck my friend.

    Newly sleeved. Slow loss

Darling, don't get discouraged. I too went from band to sleeve and I'm having a hard time not comparing my first weight loss to my current weight loss. I lost 100lbs in six months with the band. I lost the first week or two with the sleeve and immediately hit a stall. I've started exercising again and I'm seeing some slight movement on the scale but nothing like when I was banded. Even though my weight isn't falling off like before, I can see a difference in how clothes are fitting. So keep your chin up and make adjustments. You might even consider doing measurements because maybe you're toning more but not moving the scale. Also, are you taking your Vitamins? My weight started to go down more when I started taking my vitamins regularly as well. Good luck!

Discouraged by a stall? - Read this

I too hit a stall about a month after surgery. I wasn't able to exercise because I had serous fluid and kept 'leaking.' Now that I am healing more I have started exercising more consistently and I am seeing the benefits. While the scale isn't moving as fast as I'd like, my clothes are fitting better and people keep asking me if I've lost more weight, so I know it's working.

    How restricted is your sleeve?

Thats good to hear. Because the way i feel, i want as much restraint as possible. How far out are you? Sent From Galaxy Note 5 using the BariatricPal App I'm only a month and 10 days out. I revised from the band to the sleeve on June 7th.

    How restricted is your sleeve?

Not that they are the healthiest examples but to give you an idea of real world examples that everyone can relate to...I can eat one hot pocket and be full. Also, one McDonald's cheeseburger fills me up. The same with a six-piece nugget. I haven't been able to finish a single meal eating out since I got my sleeve.

    Bathroom situations

Definitely experiencing the diarrhea problem As for Protein shakes they cause my stomach to have a fit. I think it might be the whey protein. I try to get all of my protein in from food.

    7 weeks post op

I feel your frustration. I had revision surgery from band to sleeve on June 7th and I just feel like I should be losing faster. I lost 25lbs in the first couple of weeks but the last 3 weeks I've only lost 3lbs. It's a bit disappointing because when I had my band I lost weight a lot more consistently. I'm trying to exercise more and make some adjustments to see if I can kickstart the weight loss again. Damn slow metabolism.

Slower weight loss second time around?

You're right. If I hadn't had surgery I'd still be 300lbs and gaining with no end in sight. With my band I lost so quickly the first time that I guess I'm a little worried that I won't be able to have the same loss that I did before. While I'm glad to not be 300lbs, I'd rather keep losing and not stay at 270lbs or thereabouts.

Slower weight loss second time around?

I lost 100lbs in the first six months with my band. The next 3 months I lost another 27lbs for a total of 127lbs in 9 months.
