seeing as i dont know your bmi i would say talk to a nutritionist and see if there is a diet plan that fits your level of activity because you might not be getting in enough of the right calories to lose the weight you want

once i lose the weight i have no idea what will fit me because well ive never shopped in the womens section always the mens

i was wondering about this also because im a belly/side sleeper

my pcp is pretty on board with anything i throw at him so im sure he'll be on board with this too being he has seen my weight go up and up these past few years and all the desieses ive gotten from my weight

this past week and a half has taught me that food is not friend or enemy it is fuel some fills me up better than others and some just arnt worth the guilt after eating them like tacos i love tacos but after the 6 pounds of Water retetention i saw on the scale today from all the carbs yesterday im gonna go back to my nuts plan and eat lean prtein no carbs and try to up my steps for the day i really want this

wow 10 years that is insane why such a long wait i know from the time of first appointment til surgery date ill probably only have to wait 9 months as i am pre aproved by my insurance due to my bmi and comorbidies

i dont know how far that is but it sounds far so kudos to you

considering i had sleep apnea and diabetes before i sought this surgery i was pre-aproved for surgery as well just need to complete my 6 month diet and psych eval

right now i hate mri machines they are not ment for fat people hoping once i lose the 140 pounds that will change

i also had a slip up this week i am on the nuts plan for low carb high Protein and i ate 6 taco bell tacos in like a day and gain back 3/4 of the weight i had lost i am so mad at my self i know i can do better i have to do better or i will be kicked out of my program

my surgeons office wont do bands either mostly because of all the issues the slipping the erosion and the revision rate to either sleeve or rny

i had no weight loss requirements for my insurance or the surgeon but my nut wanted me to lose 2-5 pounds a month to make sure i was commited to the diet i was down 8 pounds but i slipped up and ate 6 tacos yesterday and am retaining 6 pounds of Water oh well back to basics

has anyone considered having a like video will if they like died during the surgery im thinking about it not that i think i would die but just in case i mean i had surgery a few months ago that lasted 6 hours and i came out fine so im sure this one will be ok also

i know i put off the thought of this surgery for at least two years and now i have to wait 5 months and then i get schedualed for a date im supper excited its only been a week on the nuts plan but i've already lost 8 pounds

i've always been big so i have learned not to judge but some times when i see a person who is 600 or so pounds i wonder how they got so large not from a judgement stand point but medical

im only in pre- op does anyone have any recomendations to get towards my 10,000 step goal that my nut set for me

my insurance required center of excelence and so i went with the one that was close to me and had the highest success rate at 2 4 and 6 years post op im still pre-op btw

im still pre-op but as far as diet for insurance requirements my nut put me on high Protein low carb low fat. no soda no juice. no drinking before during or after meals i have 6 nutritional classes that i have to go to and i need my psych eval then i will be cleared hope this helps

i cant wait until i lose the weight and can update my wordrobe right now im wearing mostly mens cloths because i hid my body and hate the way i look but once i get to goal i will treat my self to a shopping spree

i called my insurance and asked them what my beifits were and in one phone call they aproved me for the surgery provided i complete the 6 month diet plan and get the psych eval that was all handled by the bariatric coridinater with my insurance you might want to check and see if your insurance has one

im only on week 1 of the plan my nut gave me but ive lost 6 pounds i really must have eaten like crap before all this lol

i wasnt ready to take this step for the longest time then i saw my wedding pictures last year and i was embarrased i hated them so im getting the surgery and my present from my in-laws is retaking the important pictures in my dress that i still have in my closet. but if your not ready then take your time deciding because this is a forever decision not something to be made on a whim
