So I brought it up during my 2 week post op appointment - apparently a nerve might have been knicked a little during the laproscopy which would explain the weird/sensitive sensation (as its near 2 entry spots). Apparently it will go away, but no telling how long...

Hi Guys
I am 2 weeks post op and have developed a weird patch of sensitive skin on one side of my upper stomach. It doesn't hurt per-se, but is just really sensitive to touch/clothes.
I've had no other post-op problems - and everything is going great. This just seems really weird.
Has anyone else experienced this?

I know what everyone means about the gas pains! Am 5 days post op and I feel like I'm walking around with a blown up balloon in my stomach - so bloated! Am doing the "walk walk walk - sip sip sip" but still isn't going anywhere.
Ohh sugar free popsicles sound nice! Not hot enough here for them as its winter so been sipping on herbal teas. I'm *just* getting a litre of liquid in a day but its definitely getting easier.
@@thinkingthin15 - i understand about trying not to make a mistake! I had a blonde moment yesterday where i was making a smoothie from the book i was given - i needed some low fat natural yogurt so I opened up a new container, and without thinking, scrapped off a good spoonful of the 'good stuff' from underneath of the lid... was a bit too heavy/thick for my stomach and it sure let me know about it for a few mins!

Hi guys - newbie here saying hi... I'm 2 days away from getting my sleeve.. very excited but the nerves have defo kicked in today...

Hey! I'm in Sydney and am having my sleeve on Tuesday... how did you go??? How did you go on your preop diet? I had 3 weeks on it, a few hiccups but mostly kept it up. Am really hoping my couple of hiccups don't impact too much!

Hi everyone!
I had my sleeve done 18th Aug and have so far lost 31kgs but have mainly just been walking as my daily exercise. Am wanting to bump it up with some personal training (surgeon suggested 30mins of HIIT a week should be all i need right now)- does anyone know a good PT in sydney's eastern suburbs or cbd who knows how to deal with obese clients? I've had a few experiences recently (and over the years like we all have most likely) where they *just don't get it* (ie limited flexibility, balance and everything that goes along with being much bigger than everyone else) and try to get me to do things they do with their usual clients (ie someone half my size) that I just physically can't, which is very frustrating, a little dangerous (potential injury-wise) and offputting for exercise in general!
Thanks all!
