I envy you. I can't seem to drink anything. It all taste like poop. If your not having any issues I say go for it, but I would wait a bit after you eat

I'm 5 weeks out and constantly have dry mouth. Plus not even Water tastes good to me. Anyone else have this problem?

Unfortunately I was put back in the hospital after surgery for an infection which antibiotics kicked my butt. I'm now 4 weeks out and I go to the store and by the time I get to the register I feel like I can pass out. Anyone else have any issues getting the energy back?

I brought a Protein Shake with, but I'm soooo over them. It was a buffet I grabbed a piece of chicken and some cream of chicken Soup. I was very nervous. I cut about a tbsp of chicken up and ate it slow. Then dipped my spoon into the soup. It all tasted great and no issues. First time I feel like this might get better

I was sleeved on the 24th, felt fine until for some reason got a kidney/urine infection which put me back in the hospital for 3 days. They sent me home with a strong antibiotic. I had to call Wednesday and have them change it. Today is the first day I feel like I can get some Protein down.
Next week I start soft foods. What are all of your favorites

Ok so crazy story. I am 2 weeks preop. I was in the hospital all of Labor Day weekend. So while there I watch my 600 pound life. The whole show she was addicted to Mexican food. I sat there for 2 hours watching that. I couldn't stop thinking about it. I have not had a craving for anything till then. So on our way home yesterday I stopped at Taco Bell got a regular taco scooped out a tiny bit of meat tasted great. Got home 15 minutes later and was in the bathroom for an hour. So yeah I'm over tacos. Lol

Get the nectar grab and go. Lemonade and strawberry have been my life savior. I'm 5 days out that is all I have drank. Plus I'm addicted to ice chips right now

I'm 5 days out. Second day in the hospital I was very nauseated. Dr said it should be gone by the next day. It was 80 percent gone pain was fine, it's just the first few walks. I've just been sipping on Protein Shakes and tried a little yogurt. The unknown stinks, but I feel like if we do what they say it will all work out perfect

Health number 1. Just being able to make plans to do things without worrying about my weight. I.e. Planes roller coasters just sitting in a chair at a party

I'm only a few days out, but so looking forward to sharing stories. Congrats

Sore, but now that I took a shower and got into my own bed I feel better. Quite nervous, because I don't know actually what I'm supposed to "feel" like. Not sure if I'm hungry or not, hoping this all turns into a new normal. Anyone else out there been like this?

Laying here in my hospital bed, having a much better day than yesterday. I will be going home tomorrow. Nervous about doing this on my own, but from what I read on here it's all worth it. To my new journey...

Too many emotions right now. Of course don't want any complications, so worried about the unknown afterwards. I know it will all be worth it come 6 months from now.
Bellyache question.

I'm 5 months out, I went to lunch yesterday and had steak and salad. Brought half of both home and had for dinner. My stomach hurt so bad when I went to bed last night. Not sick, but almost sore. I got up at 4 and made myself throw up. It was pieces of steak. I still feel ick any suggestions on what it could be. I have had both steak and salad before with no issues
