Thank you so much for your response I was only able to be off for 1week 2days and will return the 2nd week on light duty for 4hrs a day! I am a commercial food photographer for a large company and I was worried about it not being enough time, but that for me as well was all that I could get off.

My day is August 1st. I actually had the lapband back in 2011 and just had it removed in May. I am a little more nervous about this surgery than the band because my stomach is actually being cut. It is a totally different surgery. I am ready though.

Wow! I was supposed to be on this antibiotic as well, but I my doctor called me and told me not to start it because my surgery is scheduled for August 1st which is next Monday. Looks like I dodged a bullet. When is your surgery????

I am scheduled for August 1st. It is getting close and nerves are kicking in. Currently on the VLCD (Very Low Calorie Diet) and I am doing well.
