I understand how you feel My date was originally December15th but was moved to December 22nd. At first I was frustrated but then I realized that gave me more time to clean, do Xmas shopping , and lose a little more weight. I feel blessed just to have the opportunity to have the surgery! What did your insurance company say?

Update please. Most insurance companies require that you do not have a NET gain. You would have to check your companies policy. So if you gained 12lbs , you would need to lose those 12lbs and maybe more by your final weigh in.

Hi everyone! After 3 months of nutrition visits my surgeon's office has sent my required information to my insurance company (Aetna)! My surgery has been scheduled for December 22, I am nervous and excited! I want this so bad. Please keep me in your thoughts/prayers! I will keep you guys posted. -Tiffany

My surgery is scheduled for Dec22!

I have the same situation going on, my last PCP visit is Dec 2nd with surgery scheduled for Dec 22nd. My Health Care Advocate at Anthem BCBS said that was causes most delays is missing information. Fingers crossed! My surgery was re scheduled for Dec 22!

It doesn't hurt. I remember when I had a c section and got my staples removed . I was so scared, It honestly isn't that bad.
