Is anyone having a problem with this? I've been in a weight loss plateau for 2 months my surgery was back in August and I was doing so well

My NUTs biggest concern right now was my vitamin levels were absurdly low hopefully once I'm back on track she'll talk to me about weight loss again lol.

Where are all the august people

I get sick of I'm eating food that is too greasy or if I over eat or plain and simple my stomach doesn't like it. I just switch back to liquids every so often to make up for it.

Where are all the august people

I had cold feet the morning of my surgery once it really became real for me. I'm almost 2 weeks out and it was a great decision to go through with it. Everyone is different and we'll all react differently to the procedure but the simple opportunity to really change my life and not be as big as I was were completely worth the risks to me.

@@Dawn306 I'm allowed to have juices I just have to dilute them 3-1 that might mean you don't have to take anything for the diarrhea but still get down enough liquids. depends on the hospital

    Any August Sleevers?

We all heal differently I would never say I had extreme pain and I was up and walking to and from the bathroom the same day as my surgery. And even then everyday is a little easier than the last

    Any August Sleevers?

Is the abdominal binder a good idea? I'm first day home after some complications and wondering if I should have someone go get me one. I showered at the hospital yesterday which was literally a new breathe of life. Walked too much today and now my incisions are aching but I'm attempting to not take too much pain medicine because it makes me sleep all day

Thanks for inviting everyone, Rebekah. Is the FB group secret? I'm not telling people - other than my husband - about the surgery.I'm not telling anyone except my boyfriend and my parents. How has it been so far for you? Sorry, I know it's off topic! I only told my parents my friends have a skewed version that explains why I can't do things the way I used to

    Any August Sleevers?

Ok day 3 update! Gas has significantly gone done. Incision points are still extremely sore but all together not that bad. Should have been released today but I had an erratic heartbeat last night so I have to stay overnight. Keep faith it's not that bad. The liquid diet leading up to operation is great makes you crave less when you're sipping tiny amounts of fluids out of medicine cups. Haha good luck everyone!

...bring a pillow to hold over the sutures so when you cough it doesn't hurt as much, it's really not that bad the pain just feels like I did a 100 sit-ups but walking is helpingWow! How many sutures to you have? Didn't they do it laproscopically? So you should only have 4 to 5 small inscision sites. What do you have? It was done laparoscopically I have 6 sutures. The one my stomach came out of is the largest and most painful.

    Any August Sleevers?

I am sorry you are having so much pain. Please don't suffer in silence! Let the nurses know, or the doctor, or your coordinator or facilitator, or whoever is with you. Make sure you get on some pain killers. As for the gas, I know lots of people have the same trouble. All you can do is walk around to get your body metabolism going so that it can get rid of the gas. If you are out of the hospital, some people say GAs-x helps. If you can, send someone to the local pharmacy (or farmacia if you are in MX) to pick some up for you. Here's hoping for a day full of burps and farts so help you feel better They're definitely trying to keep my pain under control just a lot of medicines are making me queasy including the medicine for gas. Trying to keep up with my liquids is difficult but I trying by best.

This is me tooBut I'm still closer to 500 calories and I feel like I'm gonna pass out idk what to eat tho You can eat fish/chicken/beef and vegetables, soups, salads, anything that is not empty in calories. Drink Crystal Light, tea, coffee, have some fruit, yogurt, nuts, sugar-free jello/pudding...there are many choices. My actual diet from the nutritionist says if I can chew it I can't have it haha and no dairy or caffeinated beverages. But I think I'll go to the store for some soup today thank youuuu
