  1. I had a fill which put me at 5.1ml on Tuesday. This morning with 3 small bites of oatmeal I slimed and puked for 4 hours. Yes 4 hours! Then I was able to barely sip a Protein drink. Got it down though. My throat was so dry and sore I thought something cold like a frozen fat free yogurt would soothe me. Wrong! It has now been 2 hours and the something. I am slimming and puking. What do you suggest?
  2. BTW I used to live in San Antonio. My daughter still does.
  3. I am feeling great. Still only down 19 lbs so far. That is frustrating but I am more determined. I really believe I need to get my stress under control. I have started to journal my food intake again. Which is something that I thought I wouldn't need to do. We will see what happens at my next weigh in. How about you? People are noticing…I wish I had measured myself at the beginning because I know I have lost more inches.
  4. I agree with CTJohn. Let us know how it goes for you.
  5. This is the first I have heard about a secret Facebook page. Tell me more!
  6. I banded on July 2nd. I am looking forward to having all of you to share our journey. It is nice to not feel alone.
  7. My fill did not hurt. I am down 20ish lbs since my pre surgery diet. I go back next week for another possible fill. My doctor is very careful about only giving small fills in order to avoid being over full. I hope this helps.
  8. I am 6 weeks after my banding. I do feel a twinge here and there in my port area when I move a certain way. This has not stopped me in exercising or any other activity. I hope in time that you experience less issues. I do however think it will be something that I am conscience of forever. Meaning I now that the port it present.
  9. I understand what you mean about wanting to not slow down your weight loss. I am concerned I have only lost 13 pounds total. I was banded on July 2nd. It has stayed exactly the same for the past 2 weeks. I go in for my first fill this wednesday… I feel like i have spent a ton of money and I want it to show. I would be fine if I was losing at least the 1-2 lbs a week that they say is normal. I am not losing hope. Just understanding your concern…we all have some sort of deadline and wanting to have something to show for all your money and especially the new found discipline. Enjoy the cruise! I think being aware is key. Here's to the future!!
  10. I am such a dork. I just accidentally of course swallowed a 1/4 of a piece of gum today. I am only 17 days after surgery. I can feel it. What do you recommend I do?
  11. I was banded on July 2nd. I have not had any nausea issues since July 5th. Are you eating enough? My biggest problem is left shoulder pain. I would hope that your problem goes away fast. Have you called your doctor?
