    Joint pain

I had great mobility and had not been on any meds. My pharmacist told me it can be a side effect of the lovanox. A week or so after it went away.
  2. Im 2 weeks post op and every joint hurts. It is particularly noticeable when I lay down at night. Is this normal? Have other people gone through this? It isn't a sharp stabbing pain, just sore like its bruised kind of pain. Thanks.
  3. So I start week 2 today. In my first week I lost 20 lbs (yay), but these last couple days I haven't lost anything. I have been following the diet plan and the recommended exercises my Dr gave me, plus I chase a 2 year old all day so I don't think that I am doing anything wrong. I have seen people here talk about stalls, but I thought that would happen later. Is this a stall or something else entirely?

    Just had surgery 9/4

I had mine on the 18th. Got home from the hospital last night, the first full day home has been... interesting lol.
  5. I'm trying to figure out where and how I am going to need help post op and I am just not sure what to expect during recovery. I had my daughter via c-section, is it similar? In that there really wasn't a lot of pain as long as I didn't over do it. I know that I won't be able to lift my daughter for a while, but what about getting down to her level to play. If i try to get on the floor and up again will I be able to, will it hurt? what about picking stuff up off the floor? Do they have to give you pain meds or is it so negligible that pain meds are not needed? can you tell I'm a planner?
  6. Dr.s office called today and gave me a surgery date of September 18th, a lot sooner then expected considering all the extra stuff I need to do for my insurance. I'm excited but jittery. I haven't told many people about it, I didn't want too many opinions thrown at me while I was trying to make up my mind. So I only talked to my husband (of course), my mother and a cousin that happens to be a drug rep so I could see what the drs were like. Now I get to tell the family, I have a 2 year old at home so I can't just go it alone. It isn't like I don't think they'll be supportive, though I am sure I will have to put a lot of misconceptions to rest - I have no idea why I am so nervous about telling them.
