You are tooooo funny. I have at this about 6 months and I am still 13 days away from being banded. I have lost 8 lbs doing the pre-op diet. I had my last appoinment today. My husband and I met my surgeon and picked which band I wanted. I picked Lap Band, becasue I wanted my port on my right side. I am 40 yrs. old, 5'5 1/2" and weighed 233 at my start of this journey. I only had a bmi of about 37, but I have Sleep Apnea and high cloesterol. Not to mention the severe back pain. Your class in June will really get you hyped. What kind of insurance are you dealing with. I have Tricare and was approved in less than a week.

Welcome! Why did you sell out? lol Are you already banded? I get mine on the 29th of May. It has been a 6 month journey.

Thank you for the welcome. I am so sorry to hear about your bones. Has the pain stopped yet? The one and only time I ever lost all my weight I started with a broken ankle. I would walk 3 miles per day in my cast. When they took it off I began running. I have great hopes for you. As tiny as you are, aren't you at goal?

I am to be banded on May 29th. I am finishing day 2 of the pre-op diet. I hope you are right about the weight loss. I know it won't be for a little while, but I can't wait! Thanks for the encouraging words. I will try to stick to every letter of it. )

Yeah!!! That is wonderful news.

Today is actually day 2. I have to see the nurse today and the doc tomorrow. I get to have a Slim Fast High Fiber 2x's per day, 2 oz of protien, 1 fat free yogurt, 1 piece of fruit and all the sugar free jello and veggies I would like that aren't starches of course. It looks like a lot, but i am struggling with it. I have a terrible headache. I am so glad for you. I believe that we are the same age, so I feel very confident seeing you do so well. You have a great day. Don't celebrate TOO well.lol
