I have heard the same scenario from lots of other pre lap banders.. hang in there.. I hope to have my done to..but I am not as far along as you.. I hope I dont run into the same crap you are.. but I am sure I will run into some of it... Just look foward to the light at the end of the tunnel.. and How great you will look.. buthe way .. hey Vanilla, I really hope that things go better for you.. I am a lot older than you and I was thinking of getting the band because I dont have any willpower,, but like you I love the texture and smell of real food.. I hope the banding will be worth it for me. I am sixk of being fat.. I have been without a man for a long time and I feel that if I weighed less all my problems would be solved you hang in there ..I am sure once you start losing ..you feel better inside and out :thumbs_up: Irene

hey guys.. I am getting discouraged before I start....and dont tell me that I need to work on a diet.. etc.. I have been doing that for years .. that is why I was going to try to lap banding.. but now I am beginning to have second thoughts.. Irene:wub:

hi I hope I am fat enuf to get a banding.. I am 5'5" and am 230.lbs.. I went over the 200 mark around the turn of the century.. LOL.. I was 170lbs after my last child and just kept on gaining.. I have tried dieting.. ephedra,, etc but the weight alwys comes back with plus more. I hope I can get the bandilng and I hope it works.. and yes I know I need to work with it.. I am a nurse and I do a done of walking.. but I love to eat.. BMC told me taht it takes approx 3 months from the time of the infomeeting to the actual surgery porvided of course the insurance is ok:wub: Soldouthippie
