No one will tell me yet. They said they will tell me when I have to start it. Right now I am just doing lowfat and have cut out pop. I hadn't had one for 6 weeks until last night. It was too carbonated for me. I am so glad you got your fill. I think it will fill like a new start or rejuvination. Put baby girl in a stroller and walk your way thin!!!

I am to be banded on May 29th. I am finishing day 2 of the pre-op diet. I hope you are right about the weight loss. I know it won't be for a little while, but I can't wait! Thanks for the encouraging words. I will try to stick to every letter of it. )

I had surgery for my jaw today. I am just now really waking up. I did ok. They had to take my tooth all the way out. It was leaking out the root canal tip and the side was split. At least if I can afford it, they can replace it. I don't get clearance until Friday and then I will need to reschedule then. They said it will probably the first week of August. Hope your testing goes great. I talked with Tricare today and they said they DO go by the 100 lbs. At 5'5" I could NOT weigh less than 227 lbs. Are you close? How tall are you? Good luck!

I am sitting here getting kind of impatient. I hear everyone's story and they are getting banded so quickly. I still have to wait till the end of May (29th). Did you get your appointment with the surgeon yet? Which one are you going with? Are you Tricare North? it was a piece of cake to be approved. The surgeon was booking 10 weeks out though. Well, I am going to go put on my Darth Vader mask a.k.a. CPAP.lol Have a great one and good luck! Keep me posted.

I just read you note to me. I think that if you are not 200% sure, you shouldn't do it. It isn't going to "fix" you. It will "help" you by giving you a tool. Your life will drastically change forever. There are reasons why I would say no. If I hadn't tried EVERYTHING I possibly could before this. If I knew that my will power wasn't the greatest or that I couldn't or wouldn't want to get fills for the rest of my life. Yes, so problems can occur, I am not sure about the metabolism problem, but it is still worth the risk to me compared to I am not losing anything on my own. Good luck. It is our new birthday and I'd be happy to have a twin. I have followed your journey and your pictures and you appear to be like me already. The life of the party, even at picture time as long as you can pose behind someone else. I had the cleavage to my neck until 2001. I had a breast reduction and I could breath when I laid down. Well, now I am too fat and still can't breath without the CPAP. SOON TO BE FIXED!!! Congrats again!

I am home. God is great. I had almost zero pain, just discomfort. Like I did a thousand situps. I wish I was on your trip. Are you winning? Any great shows? Hubby is loving retirement...for a month until his contracting job starts. We get our new house the 25th of July, his new job the 28th and I received a call for an interview today...hubby told them to call on Monday. God is great!!! Native of Jackson, MI here. We are stationed in VA. I was just home for 9 days. Returned last night. Boy are you guys all going through a lot. Everything has changed so much...economy, structures and such. I will say though that there is no better place to be banded or to have bypass than in Zoo. They have been in the field for almost as long as I have been alive. How did surgery go? Are you able to keep liquids down? Best wishes and speedy recovery.

I am glad you are thinking about Lapband. I am trying to tell everyone I know how great it has been or me. I haven't been the perfect student though. I should have lost a lot more than I have. Good luck tomorrow! I had my four hour class yesterday (Monday) and then tomorrow I have my pre-op testing and then an appointment with the nurse. Then Thursday my DH and I have one to meet the surgeon. I am as excited as you. I start my two week diet tomorrow. I made my cabbage soup tonight. I know I am going to be so grumpy unless God steps in to buffer my words. I know my sugar is going to be so low. Where are you climbing on tanks? Ten days away...sounds familiar. lol. The house was listed today, and we have people coming tomorrow. I can only pray that it will sell. Are you EATING, EATING, EATING? I hope you are well. Take care. Yes, I did get a date. I am to be banded on July third and I told my DH that I would come out on Independence day with new independence!!! Are you well? I see you are kicking butt on the weight loss as of the 11th of June, how about now? Do you LOVE the WII Fit? I have lived in the stone ages...no computer. We closed on our house on the 15th and you on the 22nd. Too cool. Are you still pending? I am down 42 lbs. I had my first fill today. I was unfilled August 12th or so, and then my referral ran out and I couldn't get it until today. It stung less than a bee sting. The Barium was kind of gross. It only took like 1-2 minutes. The problem was when they put the saline in, i was too tight and then I was too lose when she adjusted it. I am still too loose, but for now it is better than zero like I was.
