Day 9 and also feeling great! First 4 days were awful, but quickly rebounded after that. Also, looking forward to moving past the liquid / protein shake diet.

I'm 6 days post op and I had lots of pain, and gurgling/noises from my stomach area. I have been walking as much as tolerable. Noises went away by the next day… Keep taking your pain meds, from what I've read on this forum, week 2 is much better. Hang in there! forgot to add that I had what you are feeling on day 4.

snOwCrAsHeD, hope you're doing better:) Yesterday was awful for me, but today much much better. Got home at noon. I really was not prepared for that much pain. funny, I weigh 8 pounds more than morning of surgery, also very bloated/swollen. Hoping this passes soon.

Day 1, surgery was at 7:30 this morning. Difficult w pain in recover and early afternoon, but feeling pretty good now. My daughter is her, so we've been walking in between my naps! It's encouraging to hear everyone's progress:)

Mary Ph, Naturegirl - warm wishes for a smooth op and post op! I'm excited but feel anxious as well, know this week will stink but will be life changing for all of us:). We've heard the wonderful success stories of those before us, bat of luck and look forward to hearing how you are doing:) Cathy

Sleeved tomorrow! Have to be at hospital at 5:30 am for 7:30 surgery! Anxious excited:)

Lake vacation with family sounds relaxing and therapeutic if you don't have to prepare meals for everyone:) I think I would prefer it how the way you have planned, rather than being pre-op and if you're like me be consumed with thinking about the upcoming surgery etc...

Congrats on August 6th! I also started in March and have surgery on Tuesday (July 21st)!

same for me, one week and two days for insurance approval.
