  1. What's the best low sugar alcoholic beverages to enjoy???
  2. Hello all, I'm a little bit over 3 weeks post op and have been following the rules to a T. I haven't had any sugar or carbs whatsoever. However, a few times this week, including tonight, I've experienced horrible stomach pains followed by the you-know-what that comes along after that. It's driving me crazy bc I'm doing what I'm told. Can someone tell me if that's Dumping syndrome? I have heard a little about it. I don't have all the symptoms but the two I said prior.. help!!
  3. I'm a hair stylist and I highly recommend biotin AND nioxin. Nioxin will really help. It's a bit pricey but you don't have to use it every day????
  4. Anyone try the arctic zero ice cream? I've been craving ice cream but obviously can't have regular!! What's your favorite flavor if you've tried it?
  5. It sat very well! I was surprised! But I chewed it veryyyy good. I can't wait til I don't crave bad foods anymore. Atleast sushi is low in carbs and sugar and all that bad stuff. It was, however, difficult to watch my hubby enjoy egg rolls.
  6. I'm a sushi lover, I could eat sushi every day. Just the California rolls tho. I'm two weeks out and just starting soft foods, no matter what I put in my mouth I chew it to the max so it goes down gently. Tried sushi tonight with no rice and I got full fast but I'm just wondering if that's an ok thing to eat. It just has crab meat, avocado, and thin strips of cucumber wrapped in seaweed. Usually rolled in rice but I had them leave the rice off. Thoughts?? Anyone else try it??
  7. Yes I love Greek yogurt but it's a little thick right now
  8. I'm new to this app, where's the video page??
  9. I'm 9 days out. Pureed stage.
  10. Thank you! I'll try some then
  11. I'm having a hard time getting in all my protein in a day.. I'm able to get down water fine but protein shakes are making me nauseated. Advice?
  12. I am 9 days out and I've been wanting some yogurt really bad. I bought some yoplait light yogurts (if I don't eat them, my husband will) but I'm just wondering if anyone had a bad experience with it? I probably could only get a few bites in but I figured since it has protein, it wouldn't be so bad. Thoughts?
  13. I found mineral oil and milk of magnesia to work finally. Mineral oil is a good daily thing you can do. I do it at night so I make sure I'm home and not out and about
  14. Anyone have any other tricks for energy?
  15. My Dr said about 4 months I think. But god help me I can't wait that long!! I get my water in no problem
  16. Why can't we have caffeine? I don't know the true reasoning behind it.. is it gonna hurt me? I have a toddler ....if you catch my drift.... ????
  17. Now 8 days post op, I know it's really early but I tried a poached egg and I cut out the yolk part and gave the whites to my dog and JUST ate the yolk part with some salt. Got it down but had a little chest pain ? Lol it was delish tho..
  18. It makes me happy to hear that from you since you're one week ahead of me! I can see the light!! Lol I am having one heck of a time getting my protein in.. water, I can do.. protein not so much
  19. You're exactly right. I'm thinking it's not that I want a cheeseburger... It's that I can't have it which makes me want it... I have also been craving extremely healthy things. I've always been a fruit and veggie eater rather than chips and pizza or something. Just two years ago I was 194 lbs. In the time since then I've been stressed, pregnant, and lazy. Put on 100 lbs from it. I just want so badly to be back to where I was. And I think part of my regret is just thinking too hard into the future. "Will I ever drink my favorite wine again?" I just permanently restricted myself for life on a lot of things.
  20. Any tips or advice bc wow!!!
  21. You seriously look amazing!!! I was that exact weight when I started my pre op diet. Now I'm one week post op and 275. Hopefully I get to my goal of 160! Inspired. Thanks for sharing!!
  22. I hate the pain! It's evil! But at least for the most part it happens rather quick before you really overdo it! I am most excited for when I don't get pain in my chest from drinking water... 23. One week post op and I already feel like I made a bad decision. I keep telling myself 'I'll be able to eat that again one day' but facing the reality that 'One day' is pretty darn far down the road... I just wanna freakin cheeseburger. (I said the same thing when I was in labor and couldn't eat anything..) tell me some reassuring things that will change my state of mind!!!
