  1. Definitely a challenge to get liquids in ... Sleeved on 7-21 and today has been the best with liquids. Puréed yogurt, Sf Popsicles, water, tomato soup, protein shake... I'm still not sure I got quite enough in. Getting tired of sweet stuff...
  2. I like everything except unflavored. Texture usually a bit thicker than chocolate milk...
  3. Looking forward to cheese with jello, Popsicles, sf carnation instant breakfast , protein shakes, anything salty sounds good right now. Wouldn't it be nice if I have my fill of sweet by the time I'm in on puréed foods?
  4. Unjury, available at unjury.com
  5. Maybe you should call your dr tomorrow for clarification....
  6. I think focus on fluids ... Sounds like you could be getting dehydrated.
  7. me too!! Struggling to get everything in, but plugging away at it!
  8. You might want to try unjury unflavored or chicken soup flavored....
  9. I was sleeved on Tuesday and feeling very optimistic. We can do this! I have friends/family who have done this and they all tell me it gets better each day. Try to focus on why you chose this option and follow your doctor's regimen!
  10. I was revised from band to sleeve on the 21st and your fear is mine as well. I'm promising myself that if I follow the plan laid out by my surgeon & dietitian, I will successfully lose and keep it off. They know what they're doing!! I'm heading home from hospital later this morning ????
  11. My doctor insisted on a full week off. Surgery was this Tuesday and back to work next Wednesday... I was a revision from lap band to sleeve, so that might make a difference.
  12. you'll do fine ... It won't feel like a long surgery. Even the time in pre-op seemed to go fast!
  13. Surgery went well. Had some internal bleeding last night that caused a good-sized hematoma on the right side of my belly. They gave me two bags of plasma and everything is looking better. Moved to a regular room today and they took away the morphine pump. We had to cut the pain pill in 4 pieces and take with jello. It was tough to get them down!
  14. Surgery yesterday. Doing pretty well except some slight complications with internal bleeding. Will be fine though, as the dr and nurses are taking great care of me!
  15. I'm wide awake too ... I check in at hospital in 4.5 hours for surgery. Wanted to sleep a couple more hours to make morning go faster. Be well today and congrats!!
  16. Tomorrow at 10 for me...revision from band to sleeve...very excited!!
  17. I'm in the same boat! Can't wait for Tuesday!! I use myfitnesspal...
  18. My Facebook page ad me as a friend and I can then ad you as a group member. https://m.facebook.com/S.E.T.B.ME?ref=bookmarks Can you add me now, Haley?
  19. What's the name of the group? When I go to the link, it looks like a direct marketer page of some sort...
  20. Thank you for sharing your experience... Wishing my surgery was over and I could say I made it through the rough few days afterward. Keep up the good work!
  21. Thanks @@Remix earlier bedtimes might be in order for me too!
  22. Tonight was tough with everyone else eating so much. Kept telling myself I'm doing this for me and there will be lots of other holidays and gatherings to get through, so get used to it. Hoping it's easier after surgery. ????
  23. Yes I had the band several years ago. Very excited for the sleeve!
  24. Definitely!! Sounds like our regimens are a bit different pre-surgery, but our journeys will still be similar. Is this your first bariatric surgery? @@Bullydog Mom
