Aug 31st I had revision from band to rny. So far it's been an easy transition. I don't appear to be losing weight as fast as I thought I would. But I feel great, and have no regrets.

Well this morning's first order of business was to have a Protein Drink. I got that out of the way, so now I'm not stressing about Protein. I've never had much trouble getting in 64 oz. of liquids, but the amount of meals to eat is overwhelming. Especially when I have no appetite at all.

Went to my doctor yesterday for my 3 month post op visit. So far all's well. I've been cleared for pretty much all foods except for steak and pork, which come in month 6--i'm not much for either, so I'm not really worried about that. I'm down 77 lbs total, including my preop which started in January. My BMI is down to 30.4 (almost out of the obese ranges!), my body fat % is down over 20% from my first weigh in. I've been slowly gaining muscle (woo hoo!) each month. Having an easier time getting my liquids and Protein down everyday. So far no complications, no complaints, and no regrets!

I had the band in 2006 and lost about 120lbs 3 years later my dad passed away and i gained about 20lbs back then in 2010 got pregnant and gained almost 100lbs during my pregnancy then last april i had to have a new band put in because mine had formed a pouch above the band and have gained about 25lbs since then so now i am set to have the band removed and bypass done on april 16th !
