  1. Aug 31st I had revision from band to rny. So far it's been an easy transition. I don't appear to be losing weight as fast as I thought I would. But I feel great, and have no regrets.
  2. Well this morning's first order of business was to have a protein drink. I got that out of the way, so now I'm not stressing about protein. I've never had much trouble getting in 64 oz. of liquids, but the amount of meals to eat is overwhelming. Especially when I have no appetite at all.
  3. I'm three weeks out from surgery (which has gone great). But I feel like I'm playing whack-a-mole with trying to eat, drink and take vitamins at the optimum time. Anyone have any pointers for me? I wrote a schedule out this am, but within an hour it was shot. And since I can't eat enough to get the recommended protein, I will have to have some form of protein during the day. Thanks for your help.
  4. Had revision surgery almost two weeks ago and I am completely amazed at how easy it has been. Have walked quite a bit, came back to my business one week after and am so thankful everything has gone so well. I have had some troubles with the Proteins so now am shaking Greek yogurt with every kind of cream Soup I can find and heating it up. I finally decided the Protein chemical taste was making me slightly nauseous since I previously cooked and ate mostly fresh, not processed, foods.

    Band slippage

Banded in 2009. Slippage in 2013. Unfilled and weight gain. Revision surgery scheduled for August 31. Thank goodness for insurance. I so loved the band and lost a 100 pounds. Gained about half that back. Surgeon is doing by-pass instead of the sleeve because of what he figures is erosion to the esophagus. I am ready for this.
