Hi Joann, I had gastric bypass on June 29th Surgery went very well I have been back to work since Monday, July 6 and on mechanical soft diet today. I feel great and lost 28 lbs already! I was 268 at my heaviest and 259 prep now down to 241 lbs only 10 days post--op. I am so glad I did this and you will too!

Adding unflavored Protein Powder to Soups yogurt cottage cheese helps too

Going home today ! Taking small amounts Jello, chicken broth and Water gas from both ends better with walking no BM yet feeling stronger minimal gas pains now after eating

Nervous but excited. Wish me luck!

I am excited but a bit nervous as to how long it will take to feel well again post op and return to work and an active lifestyle
