Hi Joann, I had gastric bypass on June 29th Surgery went very well I have been back to work since Monday, July 6 and on mechanical soft diet today. I feel great and lost 28 lbs already! I was 268 at my heaviest and 259 prep now down to 241 lbs only 10 days post--op. I am so glad I did this and you will too! BEST OF LUCK TO YOU. ! Marc

Adding unflavored protein powder to soups yogurt cottage cheese helps too

Hi Eva you will do great! I had surgery 5 days ago and feeling terrific! Lost 25 lbs already between prep diet and post-surgery. Walking a lot is key. I am on full liquids. Check out Premier Protein shakes. Chocolate is awesome. Best of luck- Marc

I had minimal pain day 1 virtually none since then now 4 days post-op. I never took narcotic except day one none since then -
Going home today ! Taking small amounts Jello, chicken broth and water gas from both ends better with walking no BM yet feeling stronger minimal gas pains now after eating
