My surgical Consultation meeting is finally booked! I finished all my classes last thursday, and today my referral was received andsent over to the surgical group. i get to meet my surgeon on 2/1/2016! YAY!

So the peach has shrunken a bit, made it to 100 pounds down and and it through Thanksgiving! Had to have gallbladder surgery on the 19th so have been a bit tired. Been absent for a bit and thought I would drop in for an update.

I am alive. I know I've neglected my Bariatric Pal family but I am 3 weeks post op and down 34 pounds. How is everyone doing? I miss you all.

Still can't get used to the fact my thighs no longer touch when I walk...can't even remember when that was last possible..l.before high school?

Not sure how i feel about being put on cholesterol medication. I know i need it, but never thought I would need to be on it at 28 years old. Wish I had started taking my health more seriously earlier in life.

My doctor sent over the referral as i met all the qualifications but he still wanted to do blood work. It came back showing extremely high cholesterol. i have been trying to think of it as a positive, like "at least i found it before something bad happens" and "well, at least it wont hurt my case when i see the surgeon". Just feeling down about my life choices that got me to this point.
