    How much closer can I get??haha I weigh 152.2 this morning which means I've lost 99.8 pounds....and on top of that I'm only 2.2 pounds away from meeting my goal. I never thought I'd get here this quickly!.....just a little over 6.5 months!!!

    My best advice? Ask you surgeon for the kind of sleeve that doesn't stretch when you used a straw or swallow air. It's worth the extra $10.

      The one that will still allow someone to drink, smoke, and eat lasagna during the full liquid stage. Y'know, the super special sleeve people keep referring to: "Ugh, I have TONS of friends who got WLS and still do bodyshots, pass a bong around, eat fried oreos and lose weight!"

    Good lord, the loose skin! Every time someone says I look great now, I just wanna respond "buddy, my body is an apocalyptic wasteland under this body shaper."

      It adds a whole 'nother level of deception to dating profiles. Guys get upset enough when carefully-angled face photos don't reflect reality. What about this? How do I advertise myself? Sleeve exterior, but beware under the hood? XD

      Lol, honestly though, I think being young helps, as well as having complications for quite some time that made eating incredible miserable. Truth be told, I don't really enjoy ANY food (except chips/snacks/candy, which I avoid except for popcorn), so it's easy for me to be incredibly selective with what I do pick. I don't exercise, but I plan to start when I finally stall.

    I have a stricture, and it sucks :( I would rather lose weight slowly and be able to get something down than be trapped in this 300/day calorie hell

      Thanks proudgrammy. Yes, I will be able to get it done Jan/Feb. Just gotta learn to deal with the limitations for the next few months. I'm just young and have always been very healthy, so I never thought I'd be one of the few with complications.

      No insurance until January, and I'm a student living on very little, so I don't have the option to get it fixed right now.
