    Before and after pics please

Currently 20 months post op... I have held steady between 163-168 for the last 6 months. Re-committed and working hard to get down to my goal of 155! The holiday season was a struggle but I've corrected my eating and brought my Water intake back up. Now, just to get back to the gym.
  2. I agree with the two above... most of my wardrobe is from Maurice's! Love their jeans and their dress pants ( and tops and accessories... [emoji12])
  3. I was just diagnosed with this as of yesterday. Anyone know anything about it or dealt with it? My Rhumetologist thinks it may be linked to malabsorption due to my bypass. I am very grateful that I have not been diagnosed with lupus, which was the docs first thoughts. I am just shy of 1 year post op and looking for someone who may have this or know someone who has.

    Has anyone lost 100+ pounds?

I've been waiting and watching this thread for quite a while.... Today I get to post! My starting weight was 263 and today I weighed in at 162.9!!! I finally made it to 100 lbs lost! At left this Saturday at my BFF's baby shower where I ran my a** off getting everything ready (I think this pushed me to the 100lb mark ) At right exactly two years ago. Not quiet my highest weight but I thought it was appropriate as it popped up on my Facebook feed yesterday!

    So frustrated!

Update! Had my surgery today... I guess it was a little messier in there than they thought it would be! I'm pretty swollen and sore but, I'm ready to get going on the physical therapy and to start exercising again! Also super exciting that they didn't stick me with the ugly tan hospital socks! Got downsized to the blue, much better to look at ????

    So frustrated!

I am getting into a huge holiday slump! I came home from work on Thursday night and went to change from my work clothes and my skinny jeans wouldn't go over my right knee. It had been achy for a few days but now it is swollen and looks like my 250 lb knee looked. Went to the Dr and got a referral to an orthopedic doc. I am just feeling so down! Losing 85+ lbs should eliminate this kind of thing (or at least that is what my crazy brain keeps telling me). I am now spending my vacation from work laid up on the couch trying to talk myself out of grazing on snacky foods all day! Also, I wish that I could take a NSAID. I really think that getting the swelling down would make a huge difference! This sweet gingerbread shirt is doing its best to keep my spirits up!
  7. Mod Cloth has cute high waisted bikini bottoms too! These caught my eye... If we can't eat them... Wear them????
  8. I got a s'mores flavor, I love it. I have the vanilla too but usually reach for the s'mores first.

    How about some NSVs!?!?

My weight loss and newly discovered self confidence led me to sign up to be an extra in a commercial that my employer is filming! Would never have dreamed of volunteering for something like this a year ago! Filming is tomorrow, wish me luck!! ????

    ????Any May Gastric Bypass peeps????

    Congrats @@Salonboi looking good!!!
  11. I went straight to the endoscopy... Could be because I let it go so long though all I had was a pin hole opening and was severely dehydrated. Ended up having a total of 6 until they were able to get me stretched out enough. I welcomed the procedure because afterward I felt so much better!
  12. Here's one of me and my cuddle puppy! He likes to give hugs but was really good while I was still tender after surgery. Unfortunately now that I am having knee pain that seems to be his favorite place to cuddle up!
  13. I had my surgery in May last year and flew out to California in July. The trip was great but I really had to be careful eating out. I hadn't eaten anywhere but home before my trip (except for Wendy's chili and Taco Bell pintos) and the first few meals were a challenge. By the end of the trip I was just requesting an extra salad plate and taking a few bites from the rest of the family. Just be prepared with high protein snacks and water bottle and you will do great!

    Lets talk scales....

I got the Fitbit scale for Christmas and am very happy with it. Everyone in the house has synced with it. My favorite part is being able to visualize my loss with the chart in the Fitbit App. It seems to be pretty accurate. Yesterday I weighed in the AM with no clothes and came in at 168.5 then fully clothed at the doctor I weighed in at 172.8 I've always thought 4-5 lbs is a pretty accurate amount to add for clothes and shoes.
  15. I love my FitBit Charge HR and I got my husband the Surge and he is happy with it. We are both iPhone users as well and haven't had any problems with syncing. I like the Surge but I feel that it is too bulky the Charge HR is the perfect size for me. I liked the Flex but I was missing out on the heart rate. The Blaze looks pretty cool and has more of that iWatch look but it's so new I haven't seen any reviews.

    So frustrated!

I had my follow up appointment with the orthopedic doctor today I am am scheduled for surgery on my knee for February 5th. At this point I welcome the surgery and the relief that it will hopefully bring. It is a tear in my meniscus and should be a pretty easy peasy surgery all done outpatient and they said I will be able to put my full weight on it directly after surgery!

    ????Any May Gastric Bypass peeps????

Sorry to hear about all of your complications but at the same time congratulations on your successes!
  19. I was an avid Torrid shopper as well and loved their selection. As someone else mentioned Maurice's is great. I shopped their plus size and was elated to transition into their regular sizes. Besides that I've pretty much stuck to Target, TJ Maxx and Marshall's. Found this super cute dress at Stein Mart this week. (Ignore the silly boots and knee socks ????)

    How about some NSVs!?!?

    FANTASTIC!! ????????

    So frustrated!

I wish that 72 hours of NSAIDs would be enough to get me through. I am pretty sure that my meniscus is torn and I'll have to end up under the knife. I had an MRI done last week and am waiting on my follow up appointment, that isn't until the 18th. My doc was nice enough to give me a hydrocodone prescription so at least I am sleeping through a little bit of the pain. But, I'm not so good at work if I use the meds through the day. Just a waiting game at this point. ????
  22. Here is what I found... I'd never heard of it before but it makes sense that post WLS there may be some sort of Vitamin deficiency.

    How about some NSVs!?!?

Another NSV for the day... I AM WEARING 1 (really, one ????) size fits all tights!!! WHAT???? Crazy talk I tell you!!

    How about some NSVs!?!?

My dad who has always been critical of my weight (with an emphasis on wanting me to be healthy) was visiting for Christmas and he looked and me then looked at my mom and said "someone needs to feed this girl"!

    Feeling crappy lately

It very well could be that skipping your vitamins has caught up with you! Have you gotten your 6 month labs drawn yet? I was feeling very tired and sore at my 6 months and found out my vit D was extremely low. Hope you get to feeling better!
