I got my surgery date its 11/9/2015

My pre op appointment is TOMORROW!!!! I am nervous

hit my pre op surgery weight on friday just waiting for the call for my pre op appt w/ the case manager!

Had my psych eval need to loose 10 more lbs to get put on the schedule for surgery in Sept! I have 8lbs until I hit my goal set by my surgeon... whats 2 extra lbs!? I got this!!

I am so excited my orientation for surgery is tomorrow at kaiser! I was wondering what questions I should ask? I hope will decide on which procedure I want to get.

I have a question for the ladies? what types of birth control can you use after WLS? I currently use IMPLANON, and I was wondering if I have to take it out before surgery?

Do your research and that may help you to decide. I have the sleeve and am a month out. I weighed 331 in December and changed to high protein and low carb in anticipation of surgery...lost 45 pounds prior to surgery and have lost 15 more post op. I have 110 to go. I will get there. There are tons of people on here who have had success with all procedures so it is up to what is right for you. Your surgeon of course will also recommend what he/she thinks will work best for you.
