It's a progress pic and just a head shot...
The first is taken in December, which was just about my heaviest...

The second pic was taken last week, six months post-op..
65kg (143lbs) lighter and just over halfway to 'goal'...

I'm 5'2 and would love buddies to help through this journey.. Sleeved 6/17/15 have lost 36lbs so far
yes!!! I have been experiencing a lot of stalls..2 & 3 weeks..so frustratingHey all,
I'm 5'2", and sleeved 07/23/15. I'm at four weeks post-op in two days. I haven't been losing any weight since the first week. I started at a BMI of 34 (176.5 lbs), and lost 12 lbs pre-op )2 week diet), and 12 lbs since surgery.
Any of you with low BMI experience such long stalls (almost 3 week stall here)
Thanks!!
-
Yayyy!!! Yes!!! How are you doing? How do you feel you are doing?

Looking for someone who had close to the same stats as me to compare things with..I had the sleeve on 6/17 and I began 239 lbs I'm 5"2. I've lost 34lbs so far in 2 1/2 mos. Anyone have similar stats to begin with..?
-
I was sleeved on the 17th and I am in the exact same spot you are in..My hair is starting to fall out too..I've also lost 33 lbs..yesterday was really rough for me.
-
you look AMAZING!! Could you tell us how long it took you? Any pointers or advice? Did you have any stalls and do any thing specific to get yourself moving again if so...?I started at 240 and now weigh 123. I'm 5'6 and 34 years old.

how long between the before and after pics? Here are two of my newest
One is face...I just feel like I look completely different. the other is from soaking in some vitimin d in the FRONT yard yesterday while my kids played. I didn't want to scare the neighborhood with the full bikini (lol) so I wore my running skirt with a bikini top, but it was so awesome to feel like I could go layout in my front yard without being mortified. :-)

I had my surgery 2 year ago in August. I was 320 lbs and couldn't run a half mile. I just competed in my first triathlon and have raced in 3 half marathons. I can't believe how far I have come.
I did this for my kids and now they want to compete in triathlons. I am a proud dad.

how tall are you?
Absolutely beautiful!! May I ask what are your stats? How long did it take you?125 pounds lost
Thank you. I started at 267, I am now 142 ish. From a size 22 jeans to a 6/8 jeans, my tops were 2xl, and I am now a size small top sometimes extra small tops, I still can't believe it. I had my surgery on May 31, 2013. It took my 10 months to lose all my weight. I had 800 calories, and worked out/ walked 5 times a week. Didn't cheat, and eat extremely well. I hope that helps. If you have anymore questions please let me know.
-
Hang in there, don't let things get to dark..when you start having those kind of thoughts..please find someone to talk to..remember the reason you went through this to begin with..take a walk..it does get better..promise!
-
Yes!! The first week I felt so overwhelmed and all the things that everyone else said..Just fdo whatever you can to make your way through this..I promise you it will get better..I'm only 3 weeks out and already feeling better..hang in there

TY for sharing, keep up the awesome work..you are doing wonderful! I can't wait to be able to post some after pics!
Thank you @DreamsComeTrue15. 12 lbs was during the week before surgery preop diet and the rest during.
looking great..have you been on a steady downward slope or did you have any plateaus? Is 57 lbs with preop diet or just since surgery?9 weeks out, 57 lbs down!
I've hit two stalls. The first was at about 3 weeks exactly. It lasted me about two weeks.
The second one I have just finished and lasted me THREE weeks, yuppp three weeks... Smh. It sucked. I was beginning to think maybe I've just hit where my body is comfortable with. I was so afraid that I wasn't going to meet my goal of (125) and I wasted time, money and surgery for nothing. But I remembered my surgeons advice telling me, if you get into a stall, boost your Protein by 20+ grams and add exercises to your routine mix it up you'll be out of it... Did it for two days and now I am a believer that you must mix up your norm. I lost two lbs just by doing that.
Starting weight, 240's
Sugery Date, 228
Today, 183
GOAL, 125 (never been in my adult life).
Age, 30
5' 3/4"
Beautiful!! Great job.I had my surgery in August of last year and was 289 lbs then and not quite a year later am at 155 lbs.
I need to get more pictures!! ImageUploadedByBariatricPal1435720889.489653.jpg

Great job!!! Keep up the great work! When did you have your surgery?Shats are
Sw 222
Cw 146
Goal 140
I allow myself to eat what I want. Small portions of course. Very small portions. But I make sure to get 80 ounces of Water a day and at least 60 of Protein. I put in a full gym in my house, actually hubby did. And I utilize it at least 3 days a week. I don't put pressure on myself. Don't want to feel the pressures. Only thing I have not done is sweets. At all. Period. Cut them out 100%. Miss them. But don't do them.
