My daughter is 3 1/2 weeks post op and she is in the hospital as I type this. She has been vomiting with nausea and severe reflux for over a week now. She was very dehydrated and had very low potassium. She's been hooked up to an IV pumping fluids and potassium in her. They did an upper GI on her which didn't really show anything bad . They did an ultrasound and found her pancreas and gallbladder to be inflamed. She has to have a HIDA scan tomorrow and possibly her gallbladder out following. They are also possibly going to do a scope to check for a stricture. She constantly burps and hiccups and is nauseous and vomits white bubble looking stuff. Luckily we are in a great hospital with tons of bariatric surgeons and gastroenterologist's. Go get checked out. My daughter knew something was not right and thankfully we went to the ER and was transferred and admitted from there. Good luck to you and prayers sent your way!

See my response on your other post. You are in good hands. Tons of people were there from the states and Canada with us. Not many in this forum since they have their own MBC Facebook page.

My daughter just got back from Mexico bariatric center. She had Dr.Cabrera. We had an amazing experience. We were literally pampered from the minute we stepped off the plane to the minute we got back on. You are in great hands and will be well taken care of. You made the right choice!
