That's a great question my husband is going with me and that's where he is going to stay the first night.

Just talked to my surgeons office here in AZ who would have done my sleeve if my insurance would have offered that benefit and he is going to do my follow up care I'm really excited and ready to go

I'm sorry you had a horrible experience I had 2 lap bands placed and the first one slipped after 2yrs I lost 115 lbs and the second one slipped after 2.5 yrs; so I will be getting the sleeve on the 13. I have read some people have said that the weight loss can be slower when you get the sleeve but im ok with that as long I start back losing. Good luck to you.

If you want the sleeve stick to that. I'm one of those unfortunate people who had 2 lap bands and both slipped I let my surgeon talk me into putting in the second band and it was the worst experience with the first one I lost 115lbs I have gained back all but 30lbs

My prayers are with you:) I was scared I was not going to qualify for anything but my surgeon who took out my 2nd band recommended the sleeve.

I have had 2 failed lapbands I hope it's the sleeve.

We have the same date!! I'm excited one of the NP's I work with told me to buy GasX strips and liquid Tylenol or Motrin because narcotics make me very nauseous.

You will do well my surgery is July 13 I to had the lap band and lost 115 lbs before it slipped . I discovered this site and I love it very informative with great support. I'm looking forward to having my surgery and getting this weight off of me again this time for good
