Thank you! I will stay open minded and I'm sure I will go up and down with carbs to see what works for me. Thanks for the advice! I seem to loosing steadily without watching it too carefully so I will continue to be aware but not vigilant about my carb intake. ????

Thx for all the info! It's nice to know. I guess I'll just have to work out my own plan and what works best for me and my body. ????

I am 9 days post op Mexico surgery and I could not be happier with my Surgeon or the staff. I went to Dr Sergio Quinones at Pompeii Surgical Center. He does not Pay for advertising on this site so you will not see his name here, but I assure you he is amazing! Go to Pompeiisurgical.com and you will be called back by a delightful man named Bill Yanez, he is the coordinator and will answer all your questions. Good Luck! They all were amazing and I could not have asked for better care! Tell Bill Tia sent you!

Hi friend!
Someone told me a heating pad, so I'm taking one! They said it felt good after surgery cause they were cold. ????????????

I agree with most of the above posts. The "real world" will hit u after college and how much weight will u have gained back at the cost of your health? Maybe u should have thought of this before u got your sleeve as it is a life choice. Good luck, and u can still have a lot of fun stone cold sober! Be healthy too!

Love it! ????????????

Yes, I have 50-60 to loose. You are not alone! It's hard to find peeps who are on here who have less than 100 pounds to loose, although I have found a few. They are very supportive. ???? I have my surgery July 16th and am so excited. I am 47, I live in AZ, have 4 grown kids and do eyelash extensions from home. My goal weight is 125-130ish. I wish u the best, and u can contact me if u like for support or questions, I'm an open book! ????

Mine was mainly caused by meds. But once the damage is done it's difficult to keep it off. I lost and gained back 250 pounds over the last 6 years. I can loose it, not a problem. Although I am not an emotional eater, I don't exercise as much as I should. My advice to you would be get to the bottom of your emotional eating first, try to deal with that and then think about the sleeve.

Don't be sad, the scale will move. It takes time. Some of us loose weight faster than others. I am 18 days post op and have lost 12 pounds, which is not a lot by most people's standards. I see people on here loosing more than 30 pounds at the 3 week mark! I'm like WHAT?! So, we have to be patient and grateful that we both had no complications. The weight will come off, just maybe a little slower than we had hoped. The pureed stage is the pits isn't it? I can't wait to be done with it! Good luck to you. You will do great. Be patient, it's not a race, it's a marathon, or a journey. ????
