yes, i did cheat on 2 days of my pre-op...i have 2 more days till my surgery 12-19...hopefully everything will go fine. -

Hi V-Queen....my dr is Dr. Nirmul w/True Results....my surgery is this Friday 12-19 just trying to get thru this pre-op diet. So far so good.....I cant wait, what a great way to start off the new year!! I'm glad to hear things are going well w/you!! -

Hi Guys!! I will also be banded on Dec. 19th. I've been on the pre op diet for 1 week and realized today I havent been doing it right!! Arrrggghhh. So, today I will make sure I follow it to the "T" I hope I havent messed anything up. Is there a certain amount a weight you need to lose before surgery?? Does anyone know?? __________________ -

My (a ha) moment ...end of last year my friend and I went to Jamaica... #1 the seat belt barely fit and I was trying not to move for fear of it popping open!! & #2 the vacation pictures, YUCK!! January 2nd I started my research on the band...now getting it done on March 28th !!! :sneaky:

Amsderb..the process took about 2 months total (and I have uhc too) congrats on your band date..wooot wooot!! :sneaky: I'm being banded by Dr. Nirmul (True Results) only 2 more days till surgery!! Mmmmm...my favorite meal was homemade fried chicken and macaroni and cheese!! Ohhhh...and deep dish pizza sausage/mushroom/onions!! Probably about a zillion trillion calories...

I'm on day five of my pre-op diet...quite pleased to say that I havent cheated. Doing full on liquid diet get up to 5 shakes a day...all the water and sugar free koolaide and crystal light...woooo hooo!! I can only handle about 2 shakes a day...they kinda make me gag...LOL!! So, I feel everyone's pain!! My surgery date is 3/28 and it cant get here soon enough!! Good luck to everyone!
