    yesterday i ate... b - 3 slices deli roast beef w/3 slices baby swiss cheese w/light mayo l - lean cuisine d - 2 slices turkey meatloaf w/roasted veggies calories - 1200 exercise - walked a little under 2 miles

    Anyone have restriction without a fill?

    i am in the same boat that you are in....but i am eating 3 meals a day around 1100 to 1200 calories a day. after each meal i am full for hours. i am scheduled for my first fill on june 8th, i guess i will wait to see what the doc says at that time. but, i dont have any type of pains just feel extremely full.

    I have to follow a somewhat low carb diet, due to me being diabetic...most carbs spike my blood sugar :frown:...so yesterday i ate.... b - 2 slices roast beef w/2 slices of baby swiss cheese l - lean cuisine d - 2 chicken wings w/roasted veggies total calories - 1150

    Hi...i have uhc too. I had my last 5 yrs of weight info from my ob/gyn since thats the only dr i go to on a yearly basis. i do wanna let you know that the approval was extremely quick, took maybe 2 weeks! good luck! :party::thumbup:

    What food stage are you at? What are you eating?

    i'm on my 3rd day of eating real food and everything is going great. i havent had any problems w/anything. eating about 1000 to 1200 calories a day a healthy Protein and vegatable. dr said along w/exercise and Water intake, this should keep the pounds dropping weekly, so i'm curious to see if next friday if what he said is going to work for me (trying not to weigh myself till then). i'm totally ok w/slow weight loss..just as long as i see the scale move down and never go back up!!! i can say that w/being on real food, that i am actually fuuuuullllll for at least 4 to 5 hours . i'm not allowed to snack in between my 3 daily meals, i thought i would have a problem w/that but none what so ever. i hope that this whole weight loss journey continues to run easy and smooth like it has been. i dont want to ever experience pbing and throwing up and foods getting stuck, as i've read in previous post on this site. good luck w/those starting real foods soon....its wonderful, just eat slow, chew well and make smart food choices. i am scheduled for my first fill on june 8th.

    me, personally wouldnt say anything...if you go to dinner theres nothing wrong w/just eating a little bit and saying you've been watching calories or saying nothing at all...lol. possibly do something else that doesnt involve food....movies, minature golf ect...

    Suggestion / Idea

    I was thinking...maybe we can do a weigh in once a month or once a week. Post our success this might keep us all motivated, in touch and someone to share our ups & downs with. What do you guys think. I saw that other banded months do this, and I thought it was a cool idea.

    i moved on to real food today!! woot woot!! this morning i made mini egg, ham and cheese quiches...have no idea whats for lunch. tonight i'm making turkey meatloaf w/some type of veggie. so far so good!!

  19. Just curious ...has anyone started exercising yet!!?? I was banded May 8th...started my exercise routine on May 18th...walking 2 miles a day!! Let me know what you guys are doing or what you guys have been doing.

    i agree ...i'm always thirsty too. guess its a good thing i'm drinking so much, keeps me full and getting that water in!! :thumbup:

    exercise bike question

    i was told to just walk, then after 6 weeks i can move on to all the other exercises...eliptical, bike, weights ect.

Hey Linda....i know exactly what you're going thru...just imagine i had to do the pre - op diet 3 different times....it took me forever to get one of my three dr's to pass approval...the 3rd time was the charm. i think it was more of an irritant to me then anything, it was very stressful especially the part about drinking 3 protein shakes a day and all the water and crystal light you can handle (no type of food)...i was sick to my stomach, terrible headaches ......just think you're almost there...hang on sistah!!! :thumbup::cry_smile: P.S. - you're doing awesome on the weight loss CONGRATS!!!

    hey carrie! i was banded on 5/8. i bet you cant wait to move to mashed potatoes. yeah, i was really excited when i reached the mushy soft stage...who would have ever thought a scrambled egg would taste sooooo goood!! LOL :cry_smile::thumbup:

    i'm on my last few days of mushy / soft foods. i've been eating 1/4 cup of these things...turkey chili w/cheese and sour cream, alot of broc & cheese soup (yummy...i eat this almost everyday)...some mashed pototoes and scrambled eggs. i start eating my normal 3 meals a day on friday...i cant wait! :thumbup::cry_smile:
