  1. I just read your original post and wanted to offer my congrats and hope you and your babies are doing well!
  2. :rolleyes2: I had my surgery November 5 2007. I have since only had 2 fills. The first one was 5 weeks ago. At the time my Dr. said he put in 2 cc's. I had no restriction at all. Last night I went in for another fill. He said he was going to add 1 cc. I asked to verify how much was put in the time before. He said he would check by withdrawing the Fluid before adding more. So when he took it out there was only 1cc. He asked are you sure we put in 2 cc's last time? I said yes and then he verified that with my chart. I asked, well what happened to the other cc? He said he wasn't sure! He gave me a fill and now I have a total of 3cc's. Supposibly! Each time I have gotten a fill I am asked to sit up and take a gulp of Water. He asks me if I can tell a difference. Well I can't! However he doesn't want to be more aggresive. What exactly is the feeling I should be experiencing in order to know if I need a more aggresive fill at the time of my dr. visit? :tt2:
  3. I do feel good. Just not sure how I am doing because I haven't had my dr. to address my concerns. I had no idea that people can still continue to lose weight without a fill. That's one of the reasons I have been anxious about not having a fill yet. I guess my ultimate concern is that without a fill I will gain the weight back. Other than that I know that 30 pounds in two months is great. Just not sure that I am on "track".
  4. I was banded 11-05-07. A month later I had my follow up appointment. The Dr. said I was doing great and didn't want to give me a fill. Last week I was supposed to go in and missed my appointment because I locked my keys in the car! After rescheduling for today the Dr. had to cancel. It was a miracle in the first place that he was going to see me on an off day! He only sees patients on Thrusdays! This is sooo frustrating because I am not sure if I am losing weight at a good pace. I feel like a need a fill. I have rescheduled again for next week. I am suprised that patients can be compliant with the schedule he keeps! Espessically when I personally work full time and have to make arragements with my co-workers just to see my dr. Has anyone else experianced difficulty seeing their surgeon. Does 30 pounds in 2 months seem like a positive number? Is 2 months post op with no fill normal? :help:
