  1. Well here I am was all psyched to get in the scale and see what has happened over the past week, and blamo! 1.5 lbs down, really? 500 calories or less per day and 4 days of walking for an hour, and 1.5 lbs what the heck is going on? Feeling frustrated!
  2. Could be building muscle drinking all that protein and walking! 3 week stall? That kinda makes sense like the Week 2 rebound on biggest loser!

    Regrets

    19 days post surgery and I feel almost normal again! Only thing is I get tired during the day and often need a mid afternoon nap. I get my water in and my protein, and walk at least a mile.

    I have been fine with water since the surgery, no issues at all I am drinking about 96 oz a day at a minimum I alternate between mio and plain water.

    You cannot stretch your stomach with fluids, if you get too much in there it will be forced into the intestine. Only with too much food can you stretch.

    I didn't answer your question sorry. On my program the 30/30 rule does not apply to shakes, only pureed foods.

    I am 19 days post op, I have been able to get my shakes down since the day after surgery and 64 oz of water with no issues, I consider myself lucky based in what I am reading here. As others have said just take things one day at a time and tolerate what you can. I hope it gets better for you real soon!

    @@eyeontheprize, I had my surgery on May 19th as well, but they have already moved me to soilds, like canned tuna and chicken. What is this ricotta bake everyone speaks of?

    Decaf. Coffee

    No coffee on my program decaf or regular till six weeks they said its too acidic.
  13. 2 weeks and 5 days out and I can exercise for 45 min but just want to curl up in a ball and sleep the rest of the day after that!

    I was having ricotta and baby food mix but the cheese made me sick and I love cheese!
