    Calcium pills

:smile:Hi Banders..... You all have been SOOOOO helpful in the past with my questions, I'm hoping you can do the same again! My doctor wants me to take a Calcium supplement. He gave me a sample of some "Bariatric Advantage" chewable tablets. But------ ewwwww they are gross. Anyone out there take any good tasting calcium supplements? Again, THANKS BANDERS!!!:tongue2:

    Oh, MAN!!!

Hi Guys I just got back from my first fill. I was sooo excited about it because I had not been feeling any restriction and was hoping to feel SOMETHING after the first fill. Well, It's 4 hours later and I am having no problems drinking water, protein shakes, jello. I'm very bummed. Feeing NO restriction I have a question. 1.) Why do I have to stay on full liquids for two days (the PA told me I had to stay on liquids for two days after a fill) if I don't feel any restriction from the first fill? :confused2: I appreciate your help!

    Help. HEADACHE

Hi friends! I did it! I was banded on Jan 11th and I feel great. Every day I feel better and better. There's only one small problem.....what can I take for a headache? I've searched high and low for liquid tylenol, but the pharmacy's in my area just don't carry it. They told me I have to take the kid liquid (which I have cauz I have a 6 and 2 yr old ) but the taste is sooo sweet its nauseating. Any suggestions out there?
  6. I'm scheduled for surgery 1/11. I CAN'T WAIT! This is a dream come true for me. Hubby and I are going to have to bring our 6yr old son to the hospital in the morning when I get dropped off the day of surgery. What in the world will I tell him? I don't think he would understand the lap band surgery concept at age 6, and I certainly don't want to worry him.:think Any suggestions out there as to what I can tell him? Why mommy is in the hospital, and why she's staying overnight. Then, once I'm home......how do I explain to him why mommy isnt eating food anymore, just liquids..... I also have a 2 year old son, but he's too young to question anything. Greatly appreciate any advice you can give.

Hi ya Shortgal I met w/Renee the PA at my pre-op. She was very nice. Kevin has also been great.....answering all my emails about my approval, etc. Have you attended any support group meetings? If so, where?
