I can completely understand being nervous about surgery. My is scheduled for June 26th (just 3 weeks away). I feel like I've been waiting forever. First saw my surgeon on July 31st last year and had to have a battery of tests and exams before I was approved. Found out I have sleep apnea but am hopeful that weight loss will correct it. I have already started my pre-surgery diet and am having trouble getting enough Protein so I've decided to try powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury Protein products.
I wish all those who will be having surgery this month the very best success. Good Luck

PollyWolly,
you have had success losing weight so focus on positives instead of negatives. I know that's easy to say but can be hard to do, but look how far you've come already. Having food addiction does make this process a little harder (I too have an addiction to sugar which is not allowed post gastric bypass) but we need to remember why we are doing this. We want a better/healthy life and hopefully not be disabled any longer (I have severe arthritis and need knee and hip replacements so understand not being able to exercise enough). There is a happier life ahead for you. Turn to God when you are struggling (I have and will continue to look toward the Lord for support), it really does help.
Good Luck
