  1. PollyWolly, you have had success losing weight so focus on positives instead of negatives. I know that's easy to say but can be hard to do, but look how far you've come already. Having food addiction does make this process a little harder (I too have an addiction to sugar which is not allowed post gastric bypass) but we need to remember why we are doing this. We want a better/healthy life and hopefully not be disabled any longer (I have severe arthritis and need knee and hip replacements so understand not being able to exercise enough). There is a happier life ahead for you. Turn to God when you are struggling (I have and will continue to look toward the Lord for support), it really does help. Good Luck
  2. I can completely understand being nervous about surgery. My is scheduled for June 26th (just 3 weeks away). I feel like I've been waiting forever. First saw my surgeon on July 31st last year and had to have a battery of tests and exams before I was approved. Found out I have sleep apnea but am hopeful that weight loss will correct it. I have already started my pre-surgery diet and am having trouble getting enough Protein so I've decided to try
  3. I WISH YOU LOTS OF LUCK AND SUCCESS.
