The delay wasn't shipping services. They never shipped them. I placed my order 12/6 and thought I was waiting a long time. Ridiculous.

I thought I'd order my calcium citrate through the store. It's almost a month and it still hasn't shipped. I've tried to call almost daily and no one ever answers the phone or returns voice mails. It took my opening a paypal dispute and claim to get a response from them. I was told a week ago they would be shipped and still nothing. Then I was told it would ship by xmas eve. Still nothing. I finally asked for a refund. It's very disappointing because the store really does have a lot of things but I don't think I'll be putting my trust in them again.

G2 Gatorade. Pill crusher. Sf jello. Small pillow for your belly. I'm 3 weeks out now from Rny. It's been great. No complications and am able to tolerate all foods so far.

Water intake and Daily Calorie goals
lsmith715 replied to nikisa's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I'm 11 days post op and average 48 ounces of water and my protein drinks. When I struggle with drinking I get a sugar free Popsicle it some jello. I count calories but only because I'm using myfitnsspal ap to track water and protein. I average 300-450 calories a day and have lost 18 lbs since the day of surgery. My thing is to always dip even if I don't want it since there is always that hour and half around your protein you can't drink so your losing that time. Even if I wake up in the middle of the night. Usually some protein since I'll be going back to bed and don't need to worry about waiting the allotted time to drink more water. You really need more fluids. Dehydration is no joke and you've come so far. Good luck. -

Bowel movement issue. Please help

Problem is I do have pain in my lower belly. I think I'm going to go to the store and look for the tea. I don't want keep pushing -
Curious if this is the norm. I had RNY on Tuesday and am still on full liquid diet. I haven't had a bowel movement yet but today it seems like it's trying to come out. It's like right there but won't come out. Should I just keep walking and try to drink more or should I go to the store and get a stool softener?

United Healthcare?
lsmith715 replied to sassyfrass23's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was just approved last week and have United Healthcare. I did the 6 month supervised diet but was far away enough away from the bmi limit not to have to worry about it. But honestly if you are below the bmi and have no comorbidity that might be an issue. My Dr had.to fill out a form with my weights and what was discussed at each visit. I also had to provide the past 5 years of medical weigh ins. I'm scheduled for 11/17 and can not wait. It was a long and hard wait. Good luck!!!!! -

Anyone having surgery in November?
lsmith715 replied to sunstorm14760's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm on 11/17. So excited and scared at the same time. -
Finally got the call today that I'm approved! Surgery is scheduled for 11/17. I'm so excited. My nerves of waiting for the insurance are gone. But now the real nerves are setting in. It's amazing to think next year at this time I'll be a completely different person.

It seems like waiting for the approval from insurance takes forever. I've been waiting 2 weeks and it's still pending. I read some people's posts and they get an answer in hours. It's stressful and frustrating. I've been calling everyday in hopes there is an update.

Insurance Request Being Submitted!
lsmith715 replied to Namaste6's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm waiting too. I have United Health Care and have been calling daily for status updates. I can't help myself. The waiting 2-15 days is horribly hard. -
I'm still waiting. I called today and found out that my packet wasn't submitted last.Monday like I thought. It was just faxed in today. Doesn't anyone follow up with things anymore? I'm dying here waiting.

I'm so sorry. That's my biggest fear. Hopefully they will get the paperwork sent that needed and you will get the approval by the end of the week. Head up and keep going in the right direction while you wait for the approval.
