  1. I feel so much better today! I'm refusing to weigh myself until August 28th which is my 1 month sleeversary just because the numbers on the scale does something to me mentally whether I lose a lot or if I stall. I let those numbers affect me so much that I'd rather just gauge my success with my cloth size and activity levels. I wonder if theres anyone here like me when it comes to the scale?
  2. My back hurts so much but other than that, I'm feeling okay. Had some ice chips already. Tijuana is great! My coordinator Trish from wls4betterlife is amazingly sweet. The doctors are all nice & knowledgable. My nurses are always there.
  3. I don't know what to feel about it yet. I'm still in school and have this research paper I need to finish within 3 hours so I'm more focused on that. I've been drinking so much water I'm tempted to bring my desk in the bathroom hahaha
  4. My surgery is coming up in 3 days... I can only have yogurt and water today until surgery. I'm not sure if I'm hungry or if I just miss chewing
  5. You won't be alone, mine is on July 28th also along with a few others. Let's take it day by day and support each other post-op. We can do this together.
  6. Hello 1st of July! Aaah!!!
  7. Me too!! ????????Me three ????
  8. I start my full liquid diet on July 14th, exactly 2 weeks before my surgery. I was told I can eat cream soups, jello, pudding, protein drinks, shakes, tea, Italian ice, skim milk, Popsicles, and plenty of water. I'm also trying to commit to 30-45 minutes of physical activity everyday. I've also started bringing my own healthy lunch to work. My co-workers have noticed that I'm getting really big so they said I'm doing good with my choices. Soon after my surgery they'll probably say that all my efforts are finally showing. I'm not telling anyone about my VSG, only my husband.
  9. My surgery will be in INT hospital with Dr Ponce on July 28th. I've already bought a scar cream, made my things to bring list like gas-x strips, heating pad, etc... I hope the weather will be great on the days that I fly to Mexico. I pray that there are no delays or complications. So excited and nervous!
  10. I've done nothing but read and watch anything gastric sleeve related. My issue is I have a binge eating disorder that I'm actively working on with the help of counseling. I've heard that the stomach is our 2nd brain so I hope that by getting my 2nd brain fixed, I'll be able to successfully conquer this whole weight loss journey.
  11. Newbie here too! I'm scheduled for July 28th.
