I believe you just enter "https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/BPSSS" into your browser and there should be an option to join the group.

Enter the name "Our July Journey" in the FB search box, use the arrow to select "groups" and hit enter...it's a few entries down the page. Request to join.

Hey...we're almost having our surgery at the same time. My doctor's office just called and there was an opening for 7/6, reporting at 8:30am...this is one day earlier from my original 7/7 date. I agreed, as I had already taken the week off and I'm so sick of this liquid diet.

What about a Google group or Yahoo group - will that work for everyone?

I can't wait until I get to this phase! That's encouraging that insurance will pay for it - I'll have to check with mine - I was prepared to pay for it myself.

I start my liquid diet on 6/16 (my doctor wants 3 weeks in prior to surgery).

How are you coming along with your pureed food? What is your new tummy tolerating?

@@Cupcake, I have yet to have surgery, but I know I'll definitely need arms, tummy, and breasts done. Hopefully the face won't fall or deflate too much.

I was ready too, but I think Mother Nature has other plans for me. I contracted a "bug" at the pre-surgery session 5/27 - and it's progressed to a nasty summer cold -- I've been flat on my back with nasal congestion, coughing, and runny nose for the past two days! I called the nurse and she told me to load up on Vitamin C and to call my physician - perhaps she can give me some antibiotics to get over it by Friday morning.

I'm AA and will have RNY this upcoming Friday, June 5. Hoping for no complications and a smooth WL journey! ***UPDATE: I contracted a nasty cold with heavy congestion, so my surgery has been postponed until July 7th.
