Ok agreed. I've never been a breakfast person, if I skipped lunch or dinner then I would replace with a shake. I usually will graze with the trail mix. So I'm at the conclusion I'm not getting enough in to loose the weight. My Protein target is 60 grams. so basically my day looks like this. AM I'll have 24 oz of Water, snack I will graze over trail mix, lunch I'll have chili, and dinner I'll eat a Protein with a veggie sometimes without the veggie's. I'm a creature of habit so I like to eat the same thing over and over for a little while and then I will change it up.

I've hit a plateau with my weight loss I've been at 142-144 for a little over a month now and cant seem to drop any more. I'm finally at a healthy weight, so I'm sure my body is saying hey I'm happy where I am. I exercise daily I take a 30 min lunch break walk, and then at night I work out to a dvd for about 25 min 6 days a week. Now my nutrition is as follows I have a cup of chili for lunch and Grilled chicken with green Beans for dinner and as a snack I'll do trail mix. I drink Water through out the day. I feel like If I add to my calories then I will not loose but gain or stay the same. My only thoughts is why I'm not loosing is due to my nutrition and nothing to do with my workouts. Any help or suggestions will greatly be appreciated. Oh and I want to at least loose another 10-15lbs

I work and I drive to work an hour each way. I also have two toddlers. I either start at 6am and do a workout video until 630 or I will workout after the kids go to bed and that would be 830pm to 9pm then its a shower and off to bed my self.
But I've got it now if I miss an am workout I know I have to do it at night. I only workout Monday - Friday the weekends are free.

Being able to fit into a Victoria Secret swimsuit is not something I thought I'd ever see! I'm so excited! -
I think you should go for it. My BMI was 30, My start weight was 180 same as yours and I'm 5'4.. I struggled with it for years and I could never get the scale down. I'm 5 months post and I'm officially down 30 lbs today. It takes a lot longer for us with low bmi's to loose the weight but Its the best thing. You will for sure have to prepare your self when they say its just a tool that is so true. You still wont all the foods you had before and you still have all your old habits. Its up to you to make those changes. Good Luck
My bmi is 30, I'm considering the sleeve; what do you think? Sorry if this is the wrong place to post but, I figure all of you have been through the procedure and can offer advice.

I'm down 25 lbs since surgery, Tomorrow will be 4 mths out had the sleeve. I'm pretty happy with my progress; I feel at times it is a little slow. I've hit two stalls so far and I do a lot of Cardio 5 days a week with some weights here and there.
I see other peoples progress that has the same bmi as me and they are loosing much faster. I'm 155 so 10 more lbs I'll be officially at a normal weight, I cant wait for this to happen, back in my mind I feel that I wont get there or I might get there in another 6 mths. Maybe I'm being a little hard on my self but at times it is very hard not to be.

Yes you defiantly need your Protein, I'm on and off with my Vitamins, I finally ordered my Vitamins from PatchMD.com so the only other thing I need is my B12, so I just put on a patch on each arm where it for 12 hrs and I'm good to go.
I was feeling very week after surgery and as soon as I started getting that Protein in at the recommended goal I felt so much better and was able to go back to work and do normal activated again.
Research foods that have protein, there are plenty.

My first weight loss stall was at 3 weeks, Now I'm at 3 months and seem to be in a stall for 2 weeks now going on 3. I started cardio and weights about 3 weeks ago and I seem to think its muscle gain and I'm still loosing inches. But I just want the scale to move.
I was wanting to see if there was a Norm for Weight loss stalls or when do you hit them through out the first year after the sleeve?
Thanks for your help

I'm two weeks as of today. I weigh my self once a week, the first week I lost 10lbs and then this week I gained 3 lbs. so disappointing to see. It makes me wonder am I doing something wrong. I'm getting in 40 oz of Water a day. trying so hard to do more. and I'm eating 500-700 calories give or take a little. Its a little upsetting to see the scale today I have to admit.

More than likely you are dehydrated. I'm 8 days out and had a day like that. I actually left work and had to go home and take a nap, felt so bad. I called the doc and they told me I was dehydrated and to make sure I was getting in all fluids and Protein. I did that the next day and I felt so much better ever since. I do start to get weak here and there and I know to get more fluids in.. Hope this helps

Oh my gosh, 4 weeks out and still tired. I don't think I will survive. lol. I was hoping when I get the the puree stage this would help the weak feeling...It does make me feel better that this is all normal.

I'm 5 days post op and had the Sleeve and fixed my hernia. I was very fortunate to not have any sore throat, Nausea, vomiting, or soreness after surgery.
My problem is I feel very very weak, I don't know if this is normal. I'm getting in my Protein Drinks and drinking my Water as much as possible. I have to stay on full liquids until Friday and then I can start the puree stage. Can I start this early? I'm wondering if this will help with my feeling exhausted?

Mine is July 3rd. My pre op is the day before. No Diet for me. I'm assuming because I have a lower BMI.

What type of advice did the Dr give you in regards of getting in your Protein during your second week? And How long did it take you to drink normally? I have my Surgery schedule for next week. And Trying to get all my questions answered and get all the 411 so I'm prepared
-
My Surgery is scheduled for July 2nd, My Pre-Op is Scheduled for July 1st. No diet before hand.. My starting Weight is 180 at 5'4, My goal is 125-135.. I have DM and Hypertension. So excited to start this journey. I have been keeping this to my self other than my husband and my mother but no one else knows. Because as low bmi'ers know when I went to get all my pre testing done I got crazy and mean comments from others. I say their just jealous why does any one care what I do to my body anyway. I don't have a problem with Sweats really I love my pastas and Soda. LOL I'm drinking as much now as I can. I will stop 3 days before hand so I wont have a splitting headache after surgery. But I'm looking forward to this life style change and ready to embrace what's a head. Anyone else want to keep in touch and share experiences with me?
-
lol, I've been doing almost the same thing. I've taken a lot of photos of my self now, so I can remember what I've looked like before surgery. I want to see how far I've come when I do loose my weight. I also want to remind my self I don't want to go back to that. I'm defiantly going to schedule a sexy photo shoot for when I'm done loosing the weight. I don't believe that I'm going to miss this. if any thing I'm going to miss food and my sodas. I'm hoping this will pass.
