  2. I think you should go for it. My BMI was 30, My start weight was 180 same as yours and I'm 5'4.. I struggled with it for years and I could never get the scale down. I'm 5 months post and I'm officially down 30 lbs today. It takes a lot longer for us with low bmi's to loose the weight but Its the best thing. You will for sure have to prepare your self when they say its just a tool that is so true. You still wont all the foods you had before and you still have all your old habits. Its up to you to make those changes. Good Luck
