1. Well I lost a couple more pounds, so hopefully the current stall is over .
2. I'm in a stall right now . Was sleeved May 6th, I'm down 50 lbs and have not lost anymore for the last 10 days or so. This coincides with my return to mostly "regular" foods. My consumption is still way down but I can eat almost anything at this point as long as I go slow and chew, chew, chew. Eating mostly Protein rich foods but staring to get concerned that It wont be easy to get to my goal (about 70 lbs more) . I was enjoying my daily weigh in watching the pounds melt away, when I was eating just mush . I didn't expect to keep losing at that rate but would like to see at least weekly progress. Will post when The losing resumes

Day Five...hunger

I was getting what I thought were hunger pains on day two while still in the hospital! I now realize that my brain was mistaking just plain stomach pain as hunger. Now a month post-op I am still having some issues with "hunger pain" and have found that a couple of Tums seems to help even though my Dr. still has me on Prilosec.

May sleevers

I am just shy of 1 month out, having been sleeved on 5/6. My concern as strange as it might seem is that I am adopting too well. Lost 15lbs with 2 weeks pre-op prep and an additional 25lbs post-op. I seem to tolerate everything I have tried to eat. I started eating reduced fat cottage cheese (small curd well chewed) just 2 1/2 weeks post-op. 3 weeks post-op I've been eating tuna salad, poached eggs, quinoa with feta salad etc. The shakes (premier protein) are now only satisfying me for an hour or so. I'm Having some trouble keeping my daily calorie intake to 800 as recommended by my nutritionist. My weight loss has seemed to stall for the past week. I almost wish that I was not adopting so well, so as to maintain the rapid post surgery weight loss for a longer period. There are times of the day that my stomach is grumbling due to hunger. I also realize that my brain sometimes has trouble differentiating between hunger pains and other stomach pain! Worried about how I will react 3-4 months post-op if things are to easy now!
5. This is my first post. Had my VSG on May 6th after a 2 week liquid diet. By the day of surgery I was already down 15lbs and have lost an additional 25 lbs post op. So far things have been going well. One night hospital stay, went home feeling great! knee pain already better by 95%! Started on some mushy foods a couple days ago, cottage cheese, poached eggs, went to a sushi restaurant with my wife had miso soup and 1/2 of a rip avocado. As long as I go slow no problems. Just wanted to check in and say hello to everyone.
