  1. @@enjoythetime, thanks for your response & encouragement. I went ahead a got the fill done on Wednesday morning. I read that The hiccups/burps would be my stopping point but sometimes I would get them even before eating and I would be hungry. I would be hungry after 3-4 hours so I think I made the right choice. Since the fill, my appetite has really slowed - can only eat about 5-10 bites if that many of anything- I went from liquids, purée, soft foods and regular so we will see how this goes.

  2. I am almost 13 weeks post op and have lost 35 pounds so far however I have noticed that it has really slowed down a lot. I am watching what I eat and exercising. My appetite is much greater than previous weeks. I am able to eat larger portions and I have terrible burps and hiccups afterwards. I try to eat slow, not drinking when eating, eat Protein first and everything. I didn't get a fill at my 6wk post op appt since I was having trouble with a lot of phlegm and I was losing good. but now since my appetite has increased and the scale not moving as much - should I go get a fill to get things moving a little and to curb my appetite some? Any encouragement is greatly appreciated and I welcome it. Thanks

  3. Hey everyone!!!! I was banded on 5/20/15 and so far I have lost 34 pounds. So far so good. It's still a little hard for me to get in all my Protein but it's getting better each day. Most days I am not hungry but will eat something as it's not good to go all day and not hungry. I haven't had my first fill yet as I had a problem with slimming but it's getting better now. Hopefully I will in October. I am exercising at least 3 times a week but trying to increase so I can make my weight goal. Good luck to all!!!

  4. Butterfly512, don't beat yourself up. Things take time and you must trust the process. Plan your meals out from Breakfast, snack, lunch, snack and dinner & possibly a snack before bed. Measure out your foods as This may help you so you don't get hungry and overeat. I will not get my first full until 7/6 and I am a little anxious & nervous at the same time. I have noticed that I am able to eat more as I am not as swollen as before but I continue to watch what I eat as I don't want to gain a pound back. I hope things get better for you and we are all cheering for you.
