I'm actually at the weight my drivers license says, lol. Which for the record I never told them that weight, they just picked one and put it down. But I'm down from my highest weight right at 100 pounds, and from my surgery down 65 pounds about. At 250ish right now.
Oh and I never used to get hit on... happened 3 times this week, lol. I guess a different aura is emitted from me when I feel more comfortable.

Been craving something dangerously sweet and fattening alllllll night. Ice cream, or cake or chocolate. Opted out for this... One banana, one spoonful of Peanut Butter, one scoop of whey vanilla, ice, and one cup of milk. #YUM almost reminds me of Reese's ???? I bet chocolate Protein would really do the trick

I'm good!! I've lost 40 pounds so far. Reached a goal today by getting to weight I was when I got married!! I set small goals for myself to keep going and it's working. How about you?

Losing weight problems: I sleep on my side and now have to sleep with a pillow between my legs because a parent of all places my fat on my inner knees wanted to go away first. Now the bones of my knees hit each other when laying down and it hurts. Haha

Hi everyone! This is the first time for me posting in this forum. My surgery is set for June 29th. Anyone on or around that date that wants to follow each other's progress? I start the 2 week pre op diet tomorrow...kinda had a food funeral this weekend.

So I've lost a total of 33 pounds since the prep diet. My one month pre-op appointment is tomorrow and I'm hoping the doctor says I'm doing well. I'm 2 pounds away from pre-pregnancy weight with my second child and 14 pounds away from pre-pregnancy with my first child. Seems like such a long way to go, but I know I will get there and then some!! How is everyone else doing? I'm getting tired of the same old foods. chicken meatballs are gross to me now. Hope you all are happy with your progress so far.

I was just telling my hubby how I get sick of food so easily now. It's actually a blessing. I will crave something, have a bite, then never want it again. We were just at red robin and I was dying for a burger. After two bites I never want red robin again.
I'm 27 lbs down. I'm happy and looking forward to eating fresh fruit!

I'm the same way Kel, I'll crave something so bad, then once I have a taste I'm good. And I'm down about 25 pounds from prep diet ... but about 65 down from my highest weight last year.

I went out and walked today!! Found a beautiful walking trail in my hometown that is dog friendly! God, it felt so good to move again and not have any pain. My hips would bother me before. Now, nothing. Gonna try to do it again tomorrow.

I just read this entire forum from beginning to end and it's so cool to see how far we've come. 4 weeks ago we were so scared to do this and now looking back it wasn't that bad. Now we are slowly getting back into eating regular, healthy foods and watching the scale go down. Can't wait to see what a year looks like!

Since we are all surgery buddies on this post, I'll tell both all a little about me. My name is Shauna, I am 32 years old and the mom of 2 little girls (6 & 21 months). I am a stay at home mom and I live in CT with my husband, kids, 2 dogs and a cat. I've been overweight since I was 5 with ups and downs in between. The lowest weight I can ever remember being is 147...and that was after I lost 65 pounds by being married to the gym. Well..actually getting married and 2 kids later, free time and metabolism are not the same! I am at the heaviest I've ever been (besides pregnancy) of 251 pounds. Yes, I know, many people have a lot more to lose, but I've been living in this body that I do not belong to. My hips and back hurt, I get winded very easily, and I am very uncomfortable not only mentally but physically. My husband had gastric bypass a year and a half ago and has had a very successful experience. I swore to myself I would never get gastric bypass after seeing that he went through (he's a big baby when it comes to pain). BUT, here I am a year and a half after him at the mercy of the dreaded scale. It's time for a change, I have not given up, I have just hit rock bottom and realize I need help with this. It's time to actually live and let my kids live, without mommy holding them back. I am so excited for my future weight loss experience, but most of all, I'm looking forward to leading a healthier life and setting an example for my girls . THE END
